I am so very sorry to hear that Hyper, really I am. I can't begin to know how you must feel, I can relate a little, having nearly lost my mother recently, but it must be so hard for you. It has been hard for me, but I can't imagine how it must be for you. I wish I could give you a big hug, but sadly I can't over the internet.

Sorry about the giveaway and gifting stuff, I only meant it as a bit of fun, not something to annoy you. I won't keep mentioning gifts etc. from now on. And as for the game that shan't be mentioned: I won't ever mention it again, from this day forward you are free from me trying to gift it to you. But if you should change your mind about entering for a Star Wars game, then you are always welcome to.

I know there is very little I can do, but if I can ever be of any help, please let me know. And if we can help distract you, then just say how and we will try our best.

I have had some good news today from the hospital about my mother, who is finally going to be on a regular ward and who is recovering quite nicely, due to some new medication. The medication won't fix things, and she still has a long way to go yet, but they will help and things are finally starting to improve. Some other things have also started to get better for me as well, which has really cheered me up...
I barely new to this thread and didn't follow what's going on with your mother, Just want to say best wishes for her and you as well.


I think had enough internet for today, need to get sleep and it's already 3.50AM in the moorning. have a good day/noon/night everyone :)

HypersomniacLive: You got a chuckle out of me, a much needed one, actually; tomorrow is the 2yrs anniversary of my mum's passing, and as you can hopefully understand I'm having a difficult day, so cheers for the comic relief. I'm here trying to distract myself, but I'm not sure it's working.

I actually have Phantasmagoria 2 wallpaper on my desktop...
If that doesn't make someone laugh (and possibly point a finger at my silly ass while doing so), I don't know what will.

(Okay, it could be Fahrenheit wallpaper, but I'm not anywhere near intoxicated enough to do such a thing right now.)

Whoa, slow down! I was not annoyed, quite the contrary,I think it's very lovely and thoughtful of you, but I might start being with all this apologising. The best way to help distract me is to be yourselves, and act like you always do - friendly, engaging, funny, raging (that's for you Crow).

And if that's the forfeit, I wonder what you'd make me accept when it's not - besides that.

-laughs- Hell, I'm actually in a better game-related mood.

Course, that might just mean I'm losing my mind for good this time, but I actually loaded up Phantasmagoria, Phantasmagoria 2, Two Worlds and Fahrenheit, and thought to myself, "Well, at least none of those are the crap I've been playing".

I do appreciate the inclusion for when I inevitably start foaming at the mouth again, though. ;)

It's a path thing.

There's a corrupted simplicity to taking the low road at all times, being selfish, shitty, inconsiderate and generally an unpleasant if not downright loathsome person to be around.

Some people don't have the energy, desire or inclination to be anything better.

ddickinson: To be honest, I don't know. I have not really played many Lucas Arts games, and there are none that I can think of that I definitely want. I seem to have been one of the few people to have missed out on the Lucas Arts magic growing up. :-)
