Great :)

Glad you got your parcel, does that mean we have to stop bashing the postal service now?

And thanks for reminding me to check out the humble bundle sales, I think my poor finances can probably stretch to some of the ridiculous low prices I saw earlier.

Stilton: We interrupt this program for an important message!!!!

Stilton's Lost Parcel Update:::::

Thank you all those who sent sympathy, encouragement and tales of similar post-related woes (US to Holland and back because of no house number....wow). All that good will has fittingly paid off as my 'lost' parcel miraculously rematerialized at the local depot, which means my better half will get her Christmas presents after all.

Joy to the world and Ding dong merrily!

Okay, we can continue talking about games now....

I got Stealth Bastard Deluxe from Humble a little while ago, and thanks to the forum's gaming deals thread (and PraetorianWolfie in particular) I got if for a ridiculously low price, so this former sourpuss is now grinning at the thought of being a stealthy bastard a bit later on ;-)
Well, so much for the cheerful image of a full-on Viking rampage at the postal depot. -sigh....- =)
Seriously though, it's very good news that your presents won't be stuck in some bullshit limbo.
Had a foul-up with some stuff I was sending and was ready to breathe fire until I got ahold of the guy who runs the place. Thankfully for all involved, they got it straightened out.

AgentBirdnest: That's great to hear! I'm glad everything worked out for you!
avatar
Stilton: Thank you, Agent. How's your day been - good, I hope ;-)
Honestly... absolutely terrible. Full of panic, depression, OCD, a killer headache, and I am getting pissed off at everyone and everything. Struggling to find a reason why I should still be awake.

Hell yeah!

Imagine how much storage you'd get filling such a case with microSD-cards today.

Nice. I find it ironic how you had to actually go personally though. Just like here. The Royal Mail is royally screwed.

That is... strangely (suspiciously even) coincidental.

As for the galaxy battl.. I mean discussion. Seriously though, how is the multiplayer supposed to work? I just can't see GOG setting up their own servers à la steam. And could somebody tell me wether that gameranger type of VPN thing I thought up is bullshit or not?

Well, you have us if that's any consolation, and hopefully the knowledge that you've been in that place before and it goes away eventually, at least for a while. Stay strong, AgentB :-)

That sounds bad. May I propose you either go to play a game you like or that you really just go to sleep *hug*

It's a 90 percent off deal. Helps to grease the wheels of coincidence a bit. -laughs-

It was about the lowest price I've ever seen any worth-getting game, I mean 69p! DRM free. That compensated for postal probs completely.

And you can bash anyone who deserves bashing as often and as much as you want - what else do we have to make the pain they cause go away? ;-)

Then, don't. Take a nap, call it a siesta, say it's for health reasons (there's actually research on the subject). It can honestly clear up your head.

I will make appropriate sacrificial offerings to Odin at the Temple at Uppsala, and no it won't be Licurg.

Its depressing how often it happens, and particularly at this time of year when they could use a bit of good sense to make things easier on themselves.

Sorry. Can't help you answering the question since i'm not that tech savvy. D:

I'd be curious to know this aswell though.

Quite so I was just being paranoid, now hold still for the cavity search. I have to make sure the saturnine mice have not implanted hidden microphones on you.

*snap of latex gloves*

As for bargains; I'm glad I got DLC Quest for about the same money as a bag of sunflower seeds.
