Good morning, everyone! How are you all today?

Yesterday I had cookies for you all, today I baked a traditional English Bakewell tart. Hopefully there will be enough to go around. :-)

As with yesterday, not an actual picture of my Bakewell tart, but very similar:

Before I jump in bed and go to sleep, only to wake up in 3-4 hours to work on my research paper bibliography, how are you GOGlodytes doing?

I was wondering, any of you playing any shooters right now? I recently started playing Red Faction, a gift on GOG courtesy of the amazing trentonlf. Any of you got any memories or thoughts about it. I found it fairly good so far. The game actually challenges players to figure out what they need to do and where exactly they need to go. A breath of fresh air after the over flow of hand holding recent shooters.

No shooters here ;) I'm playing Unrest (got it from a Secret Santa). It's my third playthrough, I'm just checking how far you can change the story by your decisions.

Interesting. I'm waiting for input on how much impact your decisions have on the story. Also, I too have that game on wishlist, but I had others higher on the priority list. Secret Santa war very kind to me.

Damn, that looks delicious! However, I'm trying to get a 6 pack before summer, or at least before college starts. It truly does help with sports.....and other applications. ;D

Haven't tried any sniper games,closest I've gotten is Wastelands 2.

I really like the first Red Faction game (the second one is okay, but nothing like the first, in gameplay or plot). It may not be he best ever, but it's quite fun, and challenging on higher difficulties. It's fairly long as well, at least I seem to remember it that way, it's been a while since I last played it. The game always reminds me of the original Total Recall film.

I'm sure one slice wouldn't hurt :-). I don't have a six pack, but my stomach is nice and tight/toned, and I eat stuff like this all the time. But then I do have quite a physical job, so I guess I burn it off quite easy. Good luck with your six pack!

I would say that quite a lot but in a special way: during the course of the game you'll play as several different characters, each of them with a different point of view. The decisions you made as one character may have enormous importance for another that you'll play as in future. It's one of those games that you should play several times to really enjoy it.

Do you not like almonds? You can always take them off (or just not use them while baking) and use icing for the topping.

I guess you could use them instead - the nice thing about baking is that you can change things to better suit your tastes.

No I wouldn't wan't them on top,just whipped cream.
Cashews are best on their own with plenty of salt.
And yes I know salt is no good in excess,but you only live once..
