I got the recipe online, from here. I have not been sleeping much lately and was looking for something to pass the time. I substituted a few ingredients that I didn't have, but they turned out quite well, and very tasty. My mother has a wonderful recipe book that has been in our family for a few generations, it has some wonderful cookie recipes in it, as well as lots more (it's a big book, and it's contents keep growing as more is added). But that book is not allowed to leave my mothers kitchen :-).

I am always up and out before my partner wakes up (I'm usually out by 5 am), so I thought it would be nice to leave a plate of cookies and a few flowers from the garden on the pillow as a nice morning surprise. I also kept a few cookies for my father and brothers and for me to have on the farm during the day.

Yes !!! I'm here for at least 7 or 8 hours, with little interludes to get back home, take care of my baby owl and wash the dishes :-D...

I'm hearing theme music as I'm downloading the new games I got, KotR II,
Battlefront II and Galactic Battlegrounds Saga,
and I'm not even that big of a fan of Star Wars... :P

Depending how posh you are, pissed isn't the only Brittish slang for drunk ;)

Also, new LucasArts stuff! Yay!

I highly recommend Galactic Battlefront to anyone who likes RTSs, it's a great game. Probably the closest we'll see to Age of Empires here too...

And more games in a few days? Maybe that will finally stop people complaining (doubt it)
