GreenDamsel: 5th of July.

ElTerprise: Thanks. Figured it had to be the 4th or the 5th. I forgot because i'm currently reading too much literature about urbanism...

CarrionCrow: Thankfully it's not based around psychics.
The premise is that technology allows for checking of a person's general mental state. If it starts showing any sign of criminal tendency, the person is either hauled off for mandatory therapy or killed on the spot.

Also, this show doesn't have Tom Cruise in it. I call that a bonus for any form of media aside from Collateral.
Course, in that one I ended up wishing Jamie Foxx would get hit by a bus 5 minutes in.
avatar
ElTerprise: But wasn't also technology in Minority Report? Anyway that premise sounds really interesting. Yes Tom Cruise was quite good in Colleteral and i generally don't like him. But what's it about Jamie Foxx?
Okay.
avatar
tinyE: Speaking of which, did you hear the news, he's in for Top Gun 2
Fortunately, that movie never really appealed to me, so at least when it gets exhumed for the sake of more money, I won't be missing anything.

If I'm remembering correctly, the whole basis of Minority Report was that psychics gave information to police regarding crimes that were about to be committed. People would then be convicted based on the psychics' info.

He was generally loud and annoying in that movie, at least to me. Maybe they're generally obnoxious, maybe Tom Cruise actually doing well made them worse to sit through by comparison. Maybe both.

That reminds me of one line in Spaceballs where Yogurt talks about the sequel Spaceballs 2 The Search For More Money :).

I never really liked Tom Cruise and after having to watch the movie to the book Traumnovelle in school, I did like him even less... Good thing I am seldomly watching movies... and if I do I can pick ones without anoying people :D

Could be. I actually don't remember much of that movie although it was a quite decent one. Okay i know what you mean.

That's a sequel I'd actually pay money for.

Me too. Spaceballs was fantastic. Apparently there was a animated series but no real sequel to it. There is more than enough stuff to parody available. But Mel Brooks is not getting younger so might hurry up if they actually want to do a Spaceballs 2.
I actually read somewhere that a potential sequel might be called Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2....

EBToriginal: The macventures are all a blast.
avatar
CarrionCrow: I've spent 3 dollars on things that I've had far less interest in.
Also, it's a hell of a lot cheaper and more convenient than locating and purchasing NES cartridges from price-gougers on Ebay.
I am also one of the handful of people who enjoyed shadowgate 3

Read an article before I went offline for a bit to clean out my computer's internals.
He wants to do the movie, but he also says there's no way he'll do it without Rick Moranis.
That makes things tricky since Moranis retired from acting completely years ago.
Good evening, everyone!

I hope you are all doing well?

*hugs and waves*
*sneaks in looking for hugs*
*goes back to watch Gumball*

I didn't know that Rick Moranis retired. Well that makes things difficult indeed. A Spaceballs movie without Dark Helmet is unimaginable. It's like a Star Wars movie without Darth Vader :).

Yeah, between that and John Candy being dead, it's not going to happen.
