tinyE: Shit I'm old. :P
If I remember correctly, you will be even older on Monday. :-)

Would you prefer to be a youngster and have your music from the likes of Justin Bieber, or who ever else the horrible new singers are now? At least the older bands made some good music, not just the rubbish they make now. Of course, if you were younger, you would also be all for Steam and modern gaming ethics. I think I will keep my old games and the memory of when gaming was actually good, not just DRM, DLC, lazy developers, greedy publishers, and micro-transactions.

And just in case I am not online on Monday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

AgentBirdnest: Good day, my queen.

ddickinson: Good day, Agent!

I prefer Empress over Queen. I did conquer the place, and Empress sounds more warlike. :-)

I hope you are all doing okay today?

ddickinson: I have never heard that song before, a little before my time. I have heard of the band, of course, a good old 70's punk rock band.
There is only one emperor, and he has been sitting atop the golden throne for the last 10.000 years.

That is one serious case of constipation.

Good lord girl, a good punk rock band? Sex Pistols were THE punk rock band. They were the epitome of what punk rock represented. Everyone else were pale comparisons.

Also, the 90's sucked.

We both are.

And if gunsynd asks I was never here.

I've never been a massive fan of the Sex Pistols, more The Who and The Clash for me.

Also, you take thay back. There was a lot of shit in the 90s but a hell of a lot of really good stuff too.

The Who is probably my fave, but I love them all.

And as for the 90s, bands like Jane's Addiction, Sonic Youth, Faith No More, and of course Nirvana (though all of them got going in the late 80's) rescued the 90s for me.

Maybe the Golden Throne is actually a big toilet. He might have been unable to get of the toilet and so they built the thing around him and his toilet. :-)

No problem, I know how to deal with Heretics and make them disappear.

*pulls out plasma gun and fires it at j0ekerr.*
The concentrated look on the drummers face... priceless X'D
I loved the 90s. People wore clothes that were comfortable!

(The 90s was the only decade I remember well. I was too young to remember the 80s, and I have completely forgotten the 2000s.)

Toss up between The Who and The Clash for British punk bands. I love the Ramones too.

Yeah, 90s grunge is great stuff. Got me through high school and my teenage years. The Foo Fighters started in the 90s too and it was when the Chilis got (really) good

Not sure about the comfortable, the button on the girls jeans is about to surrender in agony. :-)

Edit: Another vote for The Who. ;)

Here my favorite Slime song. Good German 80s/90s punk.

Psssht, I'll let you into a little known inquisitorial secret.

The golden throne is a misnomer. It's actually porcelain.

I hate Kurt Cobain.

Blasphemer!

Seriously though, I like Nirvana but they are overrated. There are a lot of other bands who were better. I much prefer the Foos stuff to anything Nirvana did.
