moonshineshadow: At least they could do all the heavy lifting for building the prototype of owls star-collecting machine without any problem :D
That's true. Owl needs to hurry up and collect all the starts in case GOG does force a new forum on us with no stars. :-)

GhostwriterDoF: If we keep constructively complaining as they re-construct the website, I think things will get sorted out, and be a better site in the end, as long as we continue to guide the changes (as much as possible).
... How have you been doing? Are you taking care to take care of yourself? Getting some good sleep in?

ddickinson: What makes you think GOG listens to us or cares what we have to say? :-)

That sounds like a very enjoyable time. It must be nice reading through some of your works. My partner loves to write, both stories and poems, and I think she is very good. Glad to hear you are doing fine.

I am okay, not feeling too good (not sure why, maybe a bug?), my weekend could have been better (specifically my time at the children's hospice), but other than that no complains.
Of course GoG staff cares.. they love us... :P

Ah, another writer amongst us, and readers, readers everywhere with hungry minds and hasty eyes darting about, in need of something to read, indeed!

Hopefully you'll be Battle Ready and feeling good, and the bug, or whatever is ailing you it will pass soon.
< another big fortifying feel better hug >

*listens to the eerie silence as all the old users stop what they are doing and just stare at you in silence due to your comment.* :-)

She has always love to write, but so far just for fun, and most of her poems are to me and a little too personal to publish, but some of her stories are nice, even if they are not my kind of story.

There are definitely a lot of readers in this thread, and a fair few writers as well. Hopefully one day one of the writers will release their work for the readers to read.

Thank you. I am sure I will be fine, it takes a lot to bring a Battle Sister down. :-)

*thank you hug*

GhostwriterDoF: Hmm, looking at the disc, Battlestations Midway is distributed by Cosmi Valusoft (www.valusoft.com). There is no activations code for the game, so it is probably DRM-Free. :) I'll try installing it later today. ;)
Wow thanks for this! This is another one I played a demo of on console, always meant to go back to and never did. I remember it being a bit cumbersome at times but the game seemed like it could be fun. Maybe it does show up here at some point.

My roommate found the game at an office supply store, called me to tell me there were a bunch of games for 99 cents. I think it was Staples, in a bargain bin. So check around if you have that store, to see if you can pick up the game there.

They had a bunch of games, my roomie asked if I was interested in any of them, whilst she went through them and Battlestations Midway is one I've been wanting to get into the collection for awhile. Age of Mythology too, but that wasn't in the bargain bin... and it might show up here eventually.

Sigh, no one's buying my cards...

I'll give it 30 more minutes, then I'll drop the prices.

That's 6 bucks on the market.

Oh wow. That's ... like... a lot. Wow. Man, am I generous.
Well I just bought 5 games entirely from selling trading cards.

I paid a grand total of 1.10.

I think before it's over I'll be getting Day of Defeat. The source version.

It's dirt cheap.

Doing okay here.

5 games for pretend cards? Yes, that's nice.
