l0rdtr3k: *tackle hug*DD!How's your partner and was your weekend fine?
avatar
ddickinson: *big return hug*

My partner is doing good, and my weekend was okay, a little bad on Sunday, but okay.

How are you? Did you have a nice weekend?

avatar
moonshineshadow: Yep, having the same problem. No way for me to read owls message :-(
avatar
ddickinson: I wonder what is causing this problem? The scary thing is that now the sale is over GOG can concentrate on breaking things again, at least the sale partly kept them at bay. :-)

*big afternoon hug*

How is work going?

Edit: My chat is working occasionally. But usually it just sticks on the loading animation.
Nope, got a nasty cold. But at least I played the hell of the Fallout series(God,I love this series)

Really annoying that gog breaks things even more... I wonder what they are doing at the moment, that is causing the problem... *big hug* This week is still course... which is boring... and work is piling up more and more... I think I need to do some stuff this evening at home to catch up :-(

Good Afternoon everyone! What's up?

Bravo!

Notice I say, corporate produced not corporate sponsored or backed. I have no problem with big record companies standing behind an artist.

What I do take issue with, is when the corporation itself decides to take part in the music creation process, and they churn out this stinking pile of crud that sounds as if it had been approved by committee and designed with a set triange.

Sorry to hear about your cold. I hope you start to feel better soon. But it is good to hear you have been enjoying some nice gaming. I have never played the Fallout games, but I know they are very well liked.

Don't ask, we don't want any more "Good News". :-)

That does not sound very fun. Will you be able to catch up on your work once the course is complete, or will you have to keep doing some at home?

*big happy and energising hug*

True. Good News™ should be avoided at all costs :D
Honestly I have no idea how fast I willl be with catching up, depends also on what might get added to my work stuff once I go back to being to the office normally.
*big return hug*
Does anybody have any experience with games called Revolution Ace, Detour, or Caster?

I have yet to play the first 2, but I've read critiques by people who have played all fallout games and they all agree, the storytelling experience in the first 2 is superior by whole orders of magnitude.

Totalbiscuit said it better than I could, Bethesda is very good at creating worlds, but not necessarily at populating them.

ddickinson: Good morning! *return hug*

I hope so, so much seems to be going wrong on the site these days.

How are you? (Sorry if you have already said, I have not read back through the thread.)
If we keep constructively complaining as they re-construct the website, I think things will get sorted out, and be a better site in the end, as long as we continue to guide the changes (as much as possible).

I'm fine, whilst I was hiding from the sale I spent a lot of time cooking and doing things offline (and off the computer) that needed to get done. Plus I have lots of reading through my notes for the books. There is literally thousands of short stories I have to go through... heh! but the work is coming along, slow but sure. ;)

How have you been doing? Are you taking care to take care of yourself? Getting some good sleep in?

Sorry about your cold. Try to find some slim consolation in the fact that you're still able to play a game as opposed to being curled up into one big ball of nausea.

I speak from experience.

Let's hope that you will not get stuck with too much work. But if you do, maybe have Owl send over some of her evil minions (GOG bears) to come and help. Although, seeing what they do with the website it might not be such a good idea to trust them with your work. :-)

At least they could do all the heavy lifting for building the prototype of owls star-collecting machine without any problem :D

Is it Fallout that has a new game out this year that has everyone excited?

What makes you think GOG listens to us or cares what we have to say? :-)

That sounds like a very enjoyable time. It must be nice reading through some of your works. My partner loves to write, both stories and poems, and I think she is very good. Glad to hear you are doing fine.

I am okay, not feeling too good (not sure why, maybe a bug?), my weekend could have been better (specifically my time at the children's hospice), but other than that no complains.
