Right now on the radio, there's this cook who's speaking about fried egg variations as if they were the pinnacle of elegant cuisine.

And somebody I know is eating it all up as if the "chef" wasn't just simply adding something of top of eggs and chips.

Scrambled eggs by themselves are practically unheard off and considered a dumb meal, like a bread sandwich. That is, bread on top of more bread.

Also, frying eggs on a plate is thought of as anathema.
