ddickinson: hopefully the sun will come out and you can enjoy your holiday. I bet a nice weekend away will have you feeling relaxed and rested in no time.
Yes. That is the plan. Just to relax outside of Hamburg for a weekend. Thank you :)

Alright i'll be off now. Might check in again in the evening. See you all later *big berlin bear hugs* :)

moonshineshadow: Yep, the Lego games are all with the same mechanics. Sometimes a bit of new stuff was introduced. Like collecting some materials to build your own fun upgrades. But in general they are with the same mechanic and just telling the different stories. So I would not advise to play several directly after another, but like for example my mum and me always have breaks between since we only play during visits. And then they are always fun.

So, I choose a random letter and it was "M".
Now I just need to decide between:

Magrunner
Maniac Mansion
Mechanarium
Metal Dead
Miasmata
Might and Magic 1
Mind: Path to Thalamus
miniFlake Alpha
Mirrors Edge
Monkey Island: Tales of Monkey Island
Mortal Kombat 1
Mount & Blade
Mutant Storm Reloaded
Myst: Real Myst
I think you are right. For some reason I thought there would be voice actors on the game, but the game is still quite enjoyable. Is the Indiana Jones game the best one? I am hoping for the Lord of the Rings game, but not the Hobbit, due to it being based on the movie and not the book.

There are some good games on that list. I was not a fan of Mind: Path to Thalamus, but I hope you have more fun with it. The game itself is okay, but the puzzles get so dull and repetitive, with a lot of backtracking if you make an error, especially in the later puzzles. The story is also a bit rubbish, IMO. But others love it, so hopefully you will to and you will have lots of fun with it.

CarrionCrow: I'm not heading off to bed just yet.
Sitting here watching videos in between staring at the downloader.
It's a thrilling life, but someone has to do it. ;)

superstande: Well we can leave the rollercoaster lifestyle for the youngters :p

I'm playing Trails in the sky, so mine isn't the most exciting life either :)
An enjoyable game, but not so much about the end of the world and revolution.
More like young people learning a job and enjoying meeting all kinds of other people.
So much dialogue and silly jokes! :)

XxXSprayvWarXxX: Good Morning everyone! How are you?

Is it warm in Greece?
Glad to hear! and yes it's warm now! :)

The voice acting was not in the first Lego games. And when it was introduced (I think Lord or the Rings was the first one), it created quite a discussion between the fans. Some liked it, some hated it :D
Regarding the Hobbit Lego game. I got it in a Bundle with Lego Lord of the Rings. I have not watched the Hobbit movies, but the Lego game was not that bad, it was still quite enjoyable. My biggest problem was that it was done before all three films were released so it only covers two third of the story. Not sure if there will be a second game or some AddOn, because like this it is a bit unsatiesfying.
And about Lego Indy being the best Lego game. Depends on who you ask. Many people will say it is the Lego Marvel Heroes game (which brought a lot of people to try Lego games). But for me that one had to much flying and car races, it was so annoying. I just like the Indy game the most :D

I don't mind the lack of voices, I just thought that with the Batman game mentioning different original storyline that there would be some narrative to it, but it does not stop the game being fun.

I hate it when they make unfinished games, or split it up and charge a lot for each part. I wonder if they will release a new Hobbit add-on, or it they don't care now that the movie series is over and with all the bad press they got.

Luckily I am not a big fan of Marvel, so I will trust your judgment about the Indiana Jones games. But maybe I should do what you kept doing to me and buy it for myself before you get a chance to gift it to me. :-)

*lots of weekend hugs*
Good morning, although that affirmation is open to debate, is it still morning at noon? But I digress.

Curse you LunarLightLady! Your generosity coupled with my OCD has forced me to acquire the previous game to complete the series. Truly she is both devious and fiendish.

Since we're on the final stretch, I've decided to crash and burn in a grand spectacular way, with a bigger bang than the one that killed off the dinosaurs and leaving my wallet in need of an ICU.

DD, am I missing much by not getting the whistleblower DLC?

Good morning!

I have not played Whistleblower yet, but I have heard some good things about it. I have read some people that said it was scarier than the first game. I guess if you like the first game then it might be worth trying at such a big discount. Me and my partner are planning to play it soon, so if you wanted to wait until the next sale I could give you a better opinion then, but that depends on how eager you are to play the game.

Edit: I think people said it was about half as long as the original, so depending on how quickly you finished the first then the length could be an issue.

Right, that's nice! A proper Summer weather... I expect it here soon :)
Here we had warm days... then some really chilly cold days.
But at least there's no raining today and hot tea and coffee are a nice way to warm up!
Does Greece have like this sort of unified weather, like the whole area is basically warm now, or are there somewhere where it can be different?
I just had one last look at the sale, and there are 2 games from my wishlist (one mainly to play with my brothers some time in the future), and one or two that are not on my wishlist but look a little interesting. But nothing vital, and definitely not anything I can't wait for.

Are there any must have games that people would suggest?

Problem is without the gogwiki syncing working anymore it is hard to make good suggestions since we can't have easily a look at the collection of each other anymore.

Kinda love-or-hate thing... but Trails in the Sky!
I've spent 45 hours or so this June on it... My social life is hitting an all-time low :)
Sure it's not even a good discount, and having main characters as these teenage kids does not probably sound interesting, but it's so much full of silly humour.
Sorry I get a bit carried away...
