ddickinson: I hope you have a lovely time in Berlin. Hopefully the weather will be nice and you will have some time to take in the sights.

Do you plan to try the Wolf Among Us first to see how you like the Telltale game format? It's strange how they shifted from point-and-click to these interactive movies full of quick time events and the illusion of control over the story.

The reviews do seem good. I am not even sure it would be my kind of game, but it did remind me of the planning stages from the original Rainbow Six games.

ElTerprise: Well it's my fifth (?) time in Berlin so i'm familiar with the sights. I just wanted to get out of Hamburg for the weekend and have a relaxed weekend in another city. But sure i'm looking forward to visit some sights but i fear that the weather might not be too good...
In that case i'll probably visit some museums on the Museum Island.

Well considering that i want to let the Walking Dead pass i'll definitely try out the Telltale format by playing Wolf among us :).
So you're in Berlin? Cool, on sunday it's Fete de la musique!

I just found an EP that I recorded some years back that I never got around to uploading anywhere. I had entirely forgotten about it, how do you forget an entire EP?!

I wish! Unfortunately it's in the vein of the other project I had going at the time, aka experimental instrumental stuff that would be classified as "weird scary trash" by most folk haha.

I'll upload it to Bandcamp later today or tomorrow as a free download, might as well share it with the world, or two people at least.

True!

I've actually just found an old USB stick that contains some material I never put out (including that EP) or never got around to finishing, skeleton tracks, stems that were recycled into other songs etc. I think I'll do some really quick work on them (just bringing the levels up if needed and chopping the beginnings/endings as needed) and bundle it all together as one release. Should be a fun little project.

Reminds me of a thing I done 30 years ago.Purchased 3 oil paintings with signature
and they are still in the garage collecting dust.Could be worth $$$$$ or nothing, maybe
one day I'll look into it or die:-)
Well...I've got almost all of my games back, I'm looking through them, and I'm already seeking out what I think are the absolute worst titles of the entire bunch.

I actually did buy good games during this sale, but no. It's apparently all trash, all the time.

Whatcha get that was good whatcha get that was good? I'm actually curious.

You'll be happy at my excellent purchase - after loving Shadowrun Returns and knowing everything about Dragonfall was a better game (though I do admit I found the initially noir storyline of SR a welcome departure from usual conventions) I finally picked it up! I've been crying / regretting not having it ever since it was sold as an expansion for like five bucks and then later converted to full standalone status. So it was nice to get it right around that price!

Yes, I'd definitely back that purchase. Even with the annoying crap in Returns, I'd still recommend that one, and Dragonfall is definitely better.

Well, from what I got, the standouts at a glance would be Divinity Original Sin, Starpoint Gemini 2, D4, the Ys bundle, Monkey Island 2, Avernum 2...
