gunsynd: I'll make it harder Crow,I don't know if you can see your players stats or not depends on the version. In the stats it tells you exactly how many times any of your characters are killed. The game I'm playing, between other games is to try and get thru without a single death.Try playing it that way and see how you go.Evil person am I not??haha
avatar
CarrionCrow: Might give that a shot somewhere down the line after I finish the standard playthrough. Still working on that, though.
Do have the stats book in your game?
I haven't played for a good while, but I can tell you that luckily the game reloads nearly instantaneously otherwise I wouldn't be playing it that way.
I'm always looking for a challenge in a game.

Not sure. I'll have to look.
As far as challenges go, I've got more than a few.
The post-game extra levels of Escape Goat, Super Meat Boy, Stealth Bastard Deluxe, Dark Souls 1, Final Fantasy 3, One Finger Death Punch, the high-end speed levels of Cook Serve Delicious, Crimzon Clover and Soldiers - Heroes of World War 2 come to mind off the top of my head as games I either know firsthand or have, haven't played yet, but have read about their difficulty.

Almost forgot. Would definitely add 7th Saga to that offhand list. That's going to be a total nightmare to complete.

Okay, got it, thank you. Every single character's been killed at least once. Hell, Paladin POS has been killed nine times. Only thing that surprises me there is that it felt like a whole lot more.

I'm sure a no-death run will increase the challenge substantially, especially with what I ran through a bit ago.
What happens if someone dies, you start over entirely?

Additional - who in the holy hell thought having a major NPC sound like a Macho Man Randy Savage impersonator was a good idea?
Not sure which thought is stronger hearing that voice - remembering to stay off drugs, or wanting to snap into a Slim Jim...

If all characters get slaughtered, slain, murdered, commit suicide or Custer's last stand luckily you can reload last save..

Ah, okay. So it's not a full restart from scratch run. With some of the things they want you to do, just in the beginning, I can see how that would get very old, very fast.

Also, holy crap. Why in the HELL did they put someone doing a famous dead wrestler's voice into a fantasy RPG? -shakes head-

ROFL. Funny you should mention that tonight, as a fellow wrestling/gaming fan friend of mine shared this with me earlier: Ooooh YEAH!

I usually save nearly after each battle, depending on how strong the group is.
Or as Clint would say, well punk you feeling lucky:-)

Okay, that right there is a frankly beautiful example of how you SHOULD use Macho Man's voice.
Dear gods, Skyrim would have been seriously improved with that...

Okay, I have to ask....why pray tell are there dinosaurs in the forest? I'm not asking for specifics, nothing that would be a spoiler, but do they ever explain why there are DINOSAURS in the forest?

The way damage over time status effects are, anything packing a serious one can kill you. When bleeding or poison turns into 15 or 20 damage per round automatically, you're kinda screwed.
Is it just me, or is this forum just cranky as heck overall today? Well, for the last few days, actually. I understand some of it ($90? Seriously? *facepalm*), but wow. It just seems like a lot of people are not having a good week for a lot of reasons.

Hopefully everyone's happiness increases tomorrow. For now, I'm going to go listen to an audiobook and play Lowlander on my phone until I pass out. (I spent $2 on it yesterday almost as soon as I finished reading the description:
- Lord British approved!
- over 8 colors!
- realistic moving water!
How can you pass up realistic moving water???)

Yep,just out of curiosity what level are your characters??
Also what setting in game are you playing?
