And with a few days to go before the end.
Playing Kingdom Rush right now, and it's pretty fun.
Liking the combination of upgrades, special heroes and restrictions placed on the player when they try beating the extra difficulty levels.
It makes for a bit of back and forth, trying levels, seeing whether they can be beaten straight away or if I need more troop upgrades first.

Might have to pick that up when it comes around, a lot of people speak highly of it.

Well, I'm on level 6. Looks like there are 26 in total, each of which can be played 3 times with increasing difficulty to obtain more upgrade points for different troops and abilities.
There are also a dozen heroes, a few of which can only be unlocked by beating the campaign. So there might be a new game plus possibly, since you aren't allowed to use heroes on high difficulty versions of levels.

superstande: Hello!
The master of slow replies is back :p
I am fine, just spent a great amount of time browsing for a buddha statue and got my wife annoyed but in the end I found a cheap yet nice one, thought our home needed it! :) also we are having some friday afternoon cider here...
Hope you regained your ability to play music, Owl, and things are fine!

ElTerprise: Hello. Glad to here that you're doing fine - same here.
Are you still enjoying the Scandinavia and the World comics? i have concerning these? Are the scandinavians 'accurately' (=cliché but truth to it) portrayed in their behaviour?
Yeah some, like Finland at least... there's lot of truth there. It's like how we Finns work emotionally... It's not the whole truth there, but enough to make me laugh a lot. Hard to put into words... But yeah something recognizable :)
And I presume there's some accuracy with at least some of the other Scandinavians too. I'm not sure about Iceland... That's maybe just a bit too silly, with that outfit :)

A lot of yours are in the sale rotation. Hopefully you can pick some of them off before it ends.
Anyone know if Retro City Rampage is any fun, at least for a while?

I've been putting them there to think about while they were on sale. I think most have been around twice by now.

Well, played a bit of Stalker and confirmed something I knew but refused to accept.

I Never had a true knack for it, but I'e definitely lost whatever small ability I might have had with mouse and keyboard, I just can't do it, I'm all thumbs. I've grown so used to the comfort of a controller that it feels awkward. Even worse, my hands start to cramp up. There was a simple combination of CTRL+SHIFT that I struggled to press while advancing with W.

On this particular case I think I am safe.
Tower defense games is not the kind of game I enjoy.

It's a blast to play but unfortunetely is somewhat limited and doesn't have the scope they were probably going for.
