Hello to all.

The other sale has just started,and already managed to trip over its own shoelaces, plant its face on the floor and shoot itself on the foot, all at the same time.

You can imagine how happy I am myself at being able to deliver those news.
A feeling that I mirror myself. I have nevertheless taken a gander. And already seen something interesting that as soon as they work out the bugs, will check again.

The bugs being the discounts not showing up.

Taking it slow though, I've mostly recovered, but mostly is not the same as completely.

While the 503 is embarrasing, it's expected considering the sheer attack steam must be under be right now.

No, the truly embarrasing thing is the front page announcing the summer sale but the discounts not being in yet. With the featured front page games BIG OFFER$ not showing any discount.

Competition's sale is up...took me all of five seconds to notice that the two things that draw my interest are a partially completed game they're charging full price for, and a game that I have to deal with a scumfuck corporation to play.

So much for them getting any rental money from me. At least on day one GOG had plenty of shit that actually caught my eye.

Also, they must not have been thinking clearly when they came up with their mini-game thing.
"Play this game, to unlock more stuff for the community."
Are you fucking high? I hate the community, so why am I going to waste seconds of my life that I won't get back helping random pieces of shit to get more deals?
Give me a mini-game that lets me help set people's computers on fire. Then they'll have my attention. I'll play that shit all day long...
