This! The only time I use my phone is when I am on holidays. After that it goes back into my work bag should I ever need to make an emergency call. And people think me crazy for not needing/using it o.O

G'Morning! (Sorry, not a hugger ;) )

The two worst thing about phones nowadays is the habit of people to pull them out during conversations or dinner and the loss of vocabulary that followed text messaging.

And typing this i realize that I sound like a grumpy old Clint Eastwood, who hates his neighbours.

If you are not a hugger you can take waves ;-)
And yeah, it is really annoying when people “play“ with their phone all the time during a talk. And don't worry about how you sound, because it sounds like you fit right with us in our little thread here :D

And I can't believe how many dates i cancelled in the midst of dinner, because the girl pulled out their phone to a) take a picture of the food or b) tell their friends about the dinner or whatever. I am quite sure, that in a good education someone should mention that phones or pagers are not to be used in a restaurant.
Pay for my dinner, leave a good tip and stand up and go. Best decision since always.
