CarrionCrow: -shakes head- That's like saying, "Well, I'm not particularly bright, but at least the machine I purchased will take care of that for me."
Sorry, I hit post before I was done. But yes, that's pretty much it.

You've noticed that our bouncing 'baby' thread will be 6 months old come Monday?

Sheesh. Time's gone by quickly on that one. Six months already...
Just a couple more months and it'll be the biggest thread the forum's got. That's pretty funny. =)

Considering most threads have died off due to conflicts of some sort this is pretty cool.
I think there have only been a couple of times I've intervened via PM to cool things down a little.
Pretty impressive considering the post count. ;)

If something goes seriously sideways, there's always plan B. =)

And yes, you're right. That's not bad at all for six months of running time.
I have been offered the opportunity to have my daily photos I have been taking be used to show women what to expect in the weeks after surgery. This is really cool, and I am thrilled I'll get to help in a small way.

wow, I just took this thread to be some kind of institution (like hardcoded into the forum software) and only now that you said that I looked back to the first post. Amazing only 6 month, took it for much older and still the same people here that created it :)
kudos

edit: Got curious which thread is even bigger: you meant the gaming deals thread, right? But it's sooo much older, I'm sure it'll be only a short time until your thread overtook it.

Good morning, evening or even afternoon - hope you are all well, and looking forward to the big party that Crow will be throwing next week to celebrate his baby's 6-month birthday. What a happy little thought, Crow bouncing his baby on his knee. Hope his knee is large enough to accommodate us all... ;-D

Congratulations are definitely in order, Crow, you have done a find job of keeping this thread running for so long, fighting off all enemies and collecting dead cat mascots on the way.
I was not here from the beginning, but I'm glad I'm here for the birthday.
playing games later on when you max them out and run them at higher resolutions than they were intended to be run is really great.

in rpgs, I generally tend to try to avoid flaky stuff and stick with core stuff. unless the mood strikes me and I get some kind of idea or style going and then I'll just completely diverge from what is sensible sometimes. anyway I never bothered with a lot of the flakier witcher upgrades. I still haven't bothered with some of them again this time, like the less than 15% health damage boost. that seems useless.

this time though I looked into altered metabolism. so I took it but I wanted to see if you still incurred the massive health penalty for drinking bad potions. so I had in mind to save scum it. so I took the perk and made a potion and just threw anything at all in it, and ended up making petri's philter on accident. uhhh... ok. so then I tried to make a simple potion and ended discovering perfume on accident. lol. so I kept the save. funny stuff.

HypersomniacLive: Quite the contrary I'd say, it's a big responsibility and hard enough to take care of one soul.
Hello Hyper, thank you for PM'ing (chat'ing? sounds odd) me the link to your response - I would not have found it otherwise.. It was really just my silly Faustian joke, and we all know what happened to him, so best that it went unheard. ;-)

Or did it?..... it's very cloudy this morning...

You're right about the responsibility, I'll certainly take good care of mine from now on, provided I get to keep it. ;-)
.
Hope you have a good day. Healthwise that's not great news, tendonitis is nasty, I have that in my wrist, and it stubbornly refuses to go away. Not resting it doesn't help.

Good luck for the back issues, hope the scan doesn't reveal anything that can't be easily taken care of.
Hey everybody!

EndreWhiteMane: I think you're right but I've stared at them for too long, brain is fried.
Thank you for keeping that tracker by the way, I'll say it now so I don't forget.

Night O' Bearded Bard, sleep well.

CarrionCrow: It's not exactly sophisticated. People still have to dig through entries to find what they're looking for.
Might look into better ways of displaying info, making it easier for people to sift through.
(Or I might say screw it and someone else can do the next one. -laughs-)
You're doing a great job there, and it's much appreciated by me, for one.

Quickest and easiest way to search there is to use the browser search function, I use Firefox but I assume all browsers have the same function.

Type Ctrl-F and a search line appears at the bottom of the browser window. Just type in there the words you are looking for, and if they are anywhere on the current page, you will find the relevant posts. Same for each page. It isn't good for long searches, but perfect for searching lists like yours.

I must go, time to walk.

Hope everyone has a good day / night.
Good morning!
How are things on this fiiine Thursday morning!
You are talking about a birthday party? But that would mean... gifts! :)
I can almost predict Crow being like, "Nooo! No more games for now!" :p

I am feeling somewhat annoyed, having this evening some work *shudder* - work on a holiday. Then again there's no one to blame, I chose to work occasionally during my holiday, out of greed :D
Otherwise enjoying life and Trails (25 hours into this epic, still in Chapter 1) - loving the job system... It's like I'm working in a fairy tale wonderland! What a super cheerful game.
hey here's some jazz-y-ish melodies from Trails - the standard battle music.
