superstande: Good Mornings to you all too! :)
Maybe Crow went to sleep?
I'm just having some mad dark Parisian coffee and yoghurt and toast.
avatar
ElTerprise: Good morning :)
How are you doing?
That coffee sounds awesome :)
Fine thanks! Thinking of leaving the main page alone for now, and playing the playful Trails in the sky for an hour or so.
How are things therewise?
Hey I saw an interview where (if you know him) Ray Cokes is trying to do something in the German television - the guy from the first Music Television, who had all these funny imaginative ideas but then later hit some bad times.

ddickinson: Is it ancient mythology in general, or from a specific culture/period?
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: The first seven weeks we focused on different periods (although the emphasis was on the ancient works :P), but this exam is about different people. So right now I have Odysseus, Aeneas, Antigone, Iphigenia, Medea and Orpheus.
OH I HATE ANTIGONE, kill her [laughs]
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Yep, if it's taught well. Right now it's unfortunately a snoozefest. :| On the upside they're letting me write an essay about Disney's Hercules, though. :P
Oh well...that's funny :)
Talikng about Mythology makes want to play Age of Mythology again :)
avatar
PalioDeMonte: Good to hear you're feeling better. I wish you the best!
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Thanks! Sorry, I missed your reply somehow. Are you doing well? What exactly is your job if I may ask?
No problem, I don't expect everybody to answer to everything. This is a thread for feeling comfortable with each other, not for feeling any pressure :)

I work for a small, berlin-based publisher - specialized on regional history, cultural history and history of art. I do sales and public relations. Have been a bookseller before, but switched the job in may. I love it :D

avatar
ElTerprise: On another note: I'll be in Berlin for a weekend trip near end of June. Anything i should visit? (last time i was in Berlin was 2008) :)
Hmm, let me think for a moment. I'm not good concerning all this tourist stuff, as I'm sick of Berlin-Mitte, Reichstag and Potsdamer Platz.

I like hanging out in my borough (Schöneberg), I like Kreuzberg, epeciall around the Bergmannstraße and I always regret that I don't manage to visit the museums more often. For example, I haven't been in the gaming museum yet, so I can't tell if it's good.

At the moment, I spend every minute I have going out to the woods - Grunewald, along the Havel, etc...

That's true, it's impossible to keep track of it all, but I'm making an effort. :P

Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun! I love books and I can only imagine how awesome it must be to be able to turn that into your job.

Because I had an exam on her with ancient greek, it was the most complex text I had to translate in greek.

I thought of going to the Wannsee or rent a bike. And there's a gaming museum in Berlin?

Yes but that requires me finding the retail disc of it....
