I work for a publisher and the editors read from a book while I was selling it :D

But yes, sometimes I also read them ;)

Ancient mythology, it's one of my electives. It would be okay if it wasn't way too much work. This is the first time these professors are giving this class and it's obvious that some things aren't working. Combine that with the fact that they've never taught such a large class before and you've got some really boring lectures. :P

On another note: I'll be in Berlin for a weekend trip near end of June. Anything i should visit? (last time i was in Berlin was 2008) :)

I remember you mentioning the postal strike. It seems you Germans do not feel comfortable without some big strike going on, you definitely have them a lot. :-)

Yep, if it's taught well. Right now it's unfortunately a snoozefest. :| On the upside they're letting me write an essay about Disney's Hercules, though. :P

I love mythology too :) But we did those in junior schoo, how i miss these days.... :(

The first seven weeks we focused on different periods (although the emphasis was on the ancient works :P), but this exam is about different people. So right now I have Odysseus, Aeneas, Antigone, Iphigenia, Medea and Orpheus.

I think the problem is usually a strike wasn't necessary but recently the fronts between the employers and the union are hardened....and the unions were quite modest in the last labour disputes...
