Vnlr: I think it is a very good game, I keep going back to it every few years with some different mods. Even when the story is well known to you there is still a lot of stuff to do.

There are bugs, CTD's, and some longish load-screens ... but the game is so enjoyable, and it happens so rarely that I don't really mind (not that I mostly do unless it's game breaking).

I always drag in mass effect as an example of a silly overrated game. I played the first, with a feeling of profound uninterest. And I played half of the second one, untill I figured out stuff wasn't going to get much better.

STALKER dragged me in from the very start to the very end 3 times so far though ;)
I'll have to give them a go at some point. I can overlook technical issues if the basic story is intelligent and involving. I'm not much for eye-candy alone; I'd rather have something that grips and then grips tighter (but not too tight...).

As for me, I saw the bones doctor yesterday, have to get an MRI scan for my back issues, and was diagnosed with two separate cases of tendinitis, need to do physiotherapy and take meds for the next two months. But other than this, I'm doing good.

On GOG related news, I was quite po'd until a few moments ago as none of the mostly useful_during_sales site features were working for me, but they're now restored, so I've calmed down. :-)
That doesn't sound nice but at least you now know what's wrong but good to hear that you're doing good otherwise :)
So you now own games again?

Edit: Yes. Seems so. 'Owned' works again.

I'll have to keep that in mind. Now that I have one of them, the other two will keep staring at me... but they'll have to keep staring longer, because I'm pretty sure if I buy anything else during this sale, I'll regret it more than I'll enjoy the games. :P

Today we have plans to drive out to a nearby "recreational reserve".... hopefully it'll be worth the trip. We're both craving some forest-y area, and from the description, it might deliver. We'll see. :)

You can also go to the factory near sirius, where they do the droids with genuine personality programming. I believe they also make light sabers there (mostly ones used for cut/toasting bread , but I think you can get an upsized one there. Hell, money can get you planets built) :)

It's been a while since I read the book, Im ight have gotten some facts wrong there ... shame on me

Sorry your back's ailing. MRIs are quite interesting, if you haven't had one before. They're noisy and you'll know what a torpedo feels like, but the machine itself is pretty amazing. Make sure they offer you some music; it can help put your mind somewhere else ;-)

We're talking uprepping lightsabers, not the regular ones used in war. Jedi Knights don't have the skill to build uprepping lightsabers. :P

I think the lightsaber was only in the movie. Not in the book because i can't remember it from the book...

What do you think of the lightsaber that actually looks like a regular sword, only with light projections serving as hand guards?
