FearfulSymmetry: *makes more tickle gestures*
Well, I have been known to talk to animals ... ;) Especially the cat, since he actually meows back. He's got different meows depending on whether he wants to go outside, have food, get some attention, or when a door's closed (which he disapproves of).

Cats hate closed doors. They will meow until you open them... which doesn't mean they want to go to the other side, of course ^^
Here in our household that works differently. In the hallway with my study there aren't many doors about, and the cat knows I'm often too be found here. when she wants a door opened, she comes scratching at my doorpost, and then I get to act as a butler for mamzelle to let her about the house ;)

it's raining +1's over in Holland ;)
I'm a very good paddler. (Okay, not really.) ;) Hope you enjoy it!

Yes, they do. They want all doors to be open always, even if that door is the door to your wardrobe. Because why play with your catnip mouse on the ground when you can also do it on an empty wardrobe shelf? Or even better, on one with clothes on it. :P Unfortunately, we have to keep some doors closed in order to ensure that the dog remains downstairs, but the cat is not pleased about it at all. :P

adaliabooks: It's probably going to be pretty impossible to give away anyway...
Yes normally I'd suggest giving it away as well but there are a TON of codes floating around. And from what I've heard they expire pretty soon as well so it's not even like you can hang on to it and give it to someone who missed out a bit later on.

ddickinson: Done.

But surly you mean The Netherlands? Holland is the name of a region, not the country. :-)
True, I was a bit quick ... but here in my parts we mostly refer to the dutch in general as "hollanders" . Although indeed "the Netherlands/ Nederland" is official. There is also the word kaaskoppen, but that is used in a different context (and not entirely justified, as Dutch dairy is great)

adaliabooks: Shame that, it looks quite interesting and I might have got it if it was cheap.

ElTerprise: Yes. I watched TBs video of it sounded really interesting plus i like arkham style combat systems :). Maybe they continue with new offers tomorrow but i'm not sure...
The whole deckbuilding thing is just not for me.

I got utterly sick of card games with Magic the gathering.

Vnlr: yes, I have to finish memorizing the cycles of vital chemical compounds (which is the last thing that needs doing), you know, things like sulfur, water, phosporus, nitrogen ... ;)

But a few games I've been wanting to buy came on, so I just spent some small coinage on Conquest: frontier wars, Saitns' row and Clive Barkers undying :D

And it seems I might as well grab Jade empire; everyone here says it's great, and apperently if I don't fFearfull will come paddling over the meuse from the Netherlands to admonish me personally ;)
**shrudder**... >__< ... not good memories... like... Krebs cycle ?... ,',,,',',',,'):-| [/memorizing anything fail]
Cool for the games you wanted !!
So you're waiting for Fearful to come and give you personally Jade Empire ?...
(Pssst... Fearful !!! that's not exactly how you're supposed to make ninja-gifts... that's not really "ninja" this way, you see... !) ;-p

Hmmmm, cheese. :P Yep, the official name is indeed the Netherlands, although the custom to call our country Holland seems widespread in other countries, and even some Dutch use it (but not me :P).

That's okay, I'm not really aspiring to be a ninja, I recognize my superiors in this thread in their sneaky gifting habits. ;) I just amble along, and when I have the cash to spare, I like to give away some of my favourite games. :)

The codes for unlockable games will expire at end of the sale.

I was only being playful. I only mentioned it as I knew a girl from the Netherlands who would get mad when people referred to the country as Holland.

I could use the money I just saved by being gifted to build a huge private military complex with guards, traps, huge razorwire-topped walls, security and moats with sharks and gators.

Fearfull then has to sneak in too hand over the copy personally. that should put the "ninja" in the gift. XD

and there will be maaseiker knapkoek :p

According to the emails I received we have until July 21st to redeem them.
Have you seen something different?

And I'll probably trip over some of the razorwire and end up with the gators. :P

I've never heard of that, but it sounds tasty.

I know, I was even smiling while typing the above ;)
And it is indeed a very sensitive issue to some people. kaaskoppen means cheeseheads by the way, not exactly a compliment. The Dutch retort with "belgenmoppen" (jokes about belgians - most often involving a clever Dutchman and a Belgian who can't tell his north from his south). ;)
