I'll make a start with Masters of Orion 2 - by far the most entertaining 4x game I've ever played and the only one I've spent nearly as much time with as with CIV 2. If you don't have it - grab it!

Oh yes, that sounds promising. And I love the Fables comics and their wonderful take on the characters :)

I have never been a fan of Telltale games, especially the newer ones. They seem more like interactive movies than actual games. Not that I have a problem with people liking them, I am sure they are great, but for me I just never saw the appeal of just watching cut scene after cut scenes and all those quick time events.

Aww, how very nice of you, thank you so much! I was just seriously contemplating purchasing that game now. :) I watched a bit of a playthrough a while ago and it seemed like a very fun game! *thank you hug* (if you do hugs, otherwise I'll give a very enthusiastic wave :P).

Yep, I checked out the comics after playing the game, and I'm currently reading the first few issues. It really is a great game, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. ;)

Definitely check out the game sometime, then! :) I'm doing quite well. I just managed to set an appointment with my physical therapist for tomorrow morning, and hopefully he'll be able to alleviate some of my neckpain/headaches. Really looking forward to that. :P How are you?

I suppose it's all a point of preference. If you don't like QTEs and story-heavy games with comparatively little gameplay, it's definitely not your cup of tea. Personally I don't mind those things as story tends to be one of the most important things in a game for me. :) But yes, I can totally see your point and it indeed depends on what kind of games you like.
