FearfulSymmetry: Good morning DD! *big hug*

Oh yes, I always enjoy being a big kid (just ask my Disney films collection ;P). It really was a lot of fun.

Yep, I hope so too. I still need to find a doctor in my new city so for the moment I'm stuck with the one I had before, which is two hours away from where I live now. At least it's near my mother, so I can combine it with a visit.

*very very big hug*

ddickinson: Who doesn't enjoy being a big kid now and then. :-)

Is there a waiting list for doctors where you live now, or have you just not had the time to find a new doctor? It can be hard finding a doctor you can trust and that you feel comfortable with. At least you will get to see your mother, which should be some conciliation to the long travelling time.

Are you still enjoying the sale? Are there any games you are hoping will make an appearance?

*even bigger return hug*
Hey dd hugs you, how are you?

FearfulSymmetry: Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I had a very fun day at the entertainment park with my sister yesterday, so that was great. I also went to get my ear checked out, but it's unfortunately not what they thought it was, so I'll need to make another appointment next week. :P
Dag!

I'm doing well, thank you. What kind of entertainment park? Something known?

Had to think of you when I attended a panel at the dutch embassy yesterday. Very friendly people - not arrogant at all, as one might usually think about diplomats :)

Oh, and good morning to DD!

It's mostly a time/finding a doctor I like issue. I've tried asking people I know what doctors they go to but most of them go to doctors outside the city as well, so that hasn't been very helpful. I'm planning on finding a new one in my holiday, because it's about time.

I'm still enjoying it, although I haven't bought anything new these last few days. Most of my wishlist is still too expensive, so I plan on waiting until those prices drop a bit further in the next sale or so. :) I'm always keeping my eyes open for any potentially fun games I hadn't noticed before, though. There have been a few things that were tempting but not quite tempting enough to persuade me to buy. :P It's fun seeing the new deals, though. How about you? I know you weren't going to buy anything else for yourself, but are you having fun watching the sale?

*enormous hug that is so huge it almost doesn't fit inside a room* :P

De Efteling, it's a Dutch entertainment park. It's been around for quite a while, and it's a mix between newer things like rollercoasters and good old-fashioned portrayals of famous fairytales. My favorite is the Fata Morgana, where you go on a boat ride through an Arabian city populated by animatronics. It's old, but still fun.

Haha, I'm glad the Dutch made a good impression on you! Was the panel interesting?

I have one main doctor, but the practice also has several others, and we are free to see any of them. A few of them are not so good, so I try to just get appointments with my regular doctor, as she is very good.
I hope you will find a decent doctor nearby.

I have been enjoying the sale, lots of great games with such lovely discounts. I bet all the new users are having a wonderful time picking up lots of deals. Still no games for me, lots of interesting looking games, but non I need. I actually own very little of what is on sale, so most of them look appealing during the sale, but I have enough games for me, and there are none really that jump out at me. I think even if the last game on my wishlist pops up I will pass on it for now. Although at least once it's gone I can be free of everyone hassling me to share my wishlist. I will be un-giftable once again. :-)

I'm sure there will be some good options. :) I just need to put some research into it. And yes, it's very nice having a doctor you trust and who is helpful. I've had some bad ones and that's never fun.

Yes, I think the new users must be having a great time. It's always nice to take a chance on a game for a dollar or two, you never know what gem you might run into. And yep, I know what you mean. Lots of things look appealing but I have so many games already. :) And yep, then you'll really be safe from all the ninja gifters again! Until you let slip that you like some other game. ;)

I have seen a few bad doctors, there is one at the clinic who is a real jerk. Luckily I rarely need to go to the doctors, so I don't really have to put up with him.

There are lots of Good Old Games for such a small price. Some real gems. I think it will start to get a little dull soon, especially once the sale starts to repeat itself. But who knows, maybe GOG will do something to spice it up a little. I know some of them would love an insomnia sale. :-)

I will be extra careful not to let slip that I like a game :-). But that will be few and far between, most of the new releases on GOG are not for me, in one way or another.

Yeah, I think I would've preferred it if the sale had lasted for half the amount of time it will last now, but with deals rotating more quickly (every six hours or so). And yes, if the games start repeating it will definitely become a bit boring. :P

You prefer the older games?

Well, I'm off for a bit, I have to pack and then travel back home.

I probably do prefer the older game a little more, or at least more than a lot of the new stuff. I am sure many people love all the new games, but for me there are just parts of them that do not appeal to me. But I won't go into that, as it's very subjective and I know others don't agree. To each their own, as long as people are enjoying the games then that is all that matters. Who knows, maybe GOG will have some new releases that will appeal to a picky bugger like me. :-)

Take care, have a nice day and a safe trip back home!

*big see you later hug*
Wow! I just saw Mortal Kombat on GoG! Wow! I got surprised! So many good memories with this game when I was a 5 year old. :)

Good morning everyone!

Tomorrow morning the final exam, and it's gone, and I'm free! ;)

Next to studying a lot yesterday I managed to squeeze out two pieces; the third elegy of the meuse (not as good as the second one in my own opinion, but some easy eartertainment). And a piano duet in which I try to put the fire to the shins of the Belgians (the flemish in particular) - in a "friendly"ironic way, of course. ;)

And how are you all doing? Going to the efteling seems nice, anyone else here got big plans?
