BillyMaysFan59: Good evening everyone.

Did some laptop shopping on eBay and already built up a small watchlist. I don't plan on buying anything yet since we will be leaving on another camping trip this week... but I've seen some nice looking options to consider.

In the meantime, though, I'm on my old ultraportable, and it's not very graphically powerful, but I could run some older 2D games on Wine/DOSBox..... I'm sure there's plenty of them in my backlog that I should check out yet. Anyone want to look on my outdated GOGWiki shelf and give me recommendations? :)

Good Even-morneen!

Have you tried Zak Mckrakken? There's some nice jokes, funny puzzles...

I'm also up for some laughs... Last night went to see the new Poltergeist movie with my wife...
I was a bit scared at times. Seems my wife wasn't.... What a weirdo! :)
I agree. Zak or the Monkey Island game should be work well

Shapez64: WIth tact and politeness!
Also, I have to say it's nice to see other Australians kicking around; I wasn't sure how long it would take to run into another :P If you don't mind my asking; from which state do you hail and are your net speeds worse than Queensland's?
And a decent avatar and not minus 25 rep. There's a few Auzzies around. I'm from Sydney. My internet sucks, it's partly why I like Gog so much.
Today was the first day of my new job, and it went GREAT! ^__^ Whilst I'm in training, I'm commuting 1.5 hours each way (three hours a day of driving? *faints*) but once I've been trained, it will be more like 25 minutes each way ^__^

It's been a long and busy day, so I'm off to bed~!

Congrats!
Hope you have a good radio station or pleasant tracks to go with those trips :p
Trails in the sky is rocking ass so far. Still in the prologue because I am exploring everything and checking to see what changes after every little thing.

Hi Billy. So you'll finally be able to play current generation games when your new Laptop arrives? I see opportunities for ninja gifters at the horizon... :)

In the meantime I would recommend something you can abandon without feeling urged to complete it first when the new computer arrives. Try Worms, Cannon Fodder or The Incredible Machine :D

Btw, and totally unrelated to Billy's question: Do I recognize correctly that they put Sim City 2000 on sale for more than $1? Wtf...

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you are all doing well today?

All is going great here. Another nice and sunny day, with a lovely cold breeze to make sure it doesn't get too hot.

*morning hugs and some waves*

That is strange. I guess it's a buy-one-get-one-free kind of deal. :-)
Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I had a very fun day at the entertainment park with my sister yesterday, so that was great. I also went to get my ear checked out, but it's unfortunately not what they thought it was, so I'll need to make another appointment next week. :P

Good morning, Fearful! *big morning hug*

I am glad to hear you had a fun time with your sister, I bet you had lost of fun been big kids for the day. :-)

Sorry to hear that the problem was not what they thought. I hope you will get a better result on your next appointment and that the problem will be good as new in no time.

Good morning DD! *big hug*

Oh yes, I always enjoy being a big kid (just ask my Disney films collection ;P). It really was a lot of fun.

Yep, I hope so too. I still need to find a doctor in my new city so for the moment I'm stuck with the one I had before, which is two hours away from where I live now. At least it's near my mother, so I can combine it with a visit.

*very very big hug*
I put a tub of ice cream into the fridge instead of the freezer, luckily it only took me ten or fifteen minutes to discover it. Maybe I do need some sleep.

Who doesn't enjoy being a big kid now and then. :-)

Is there a waiting list for doctors where you live now, or have you just not had the time to find a new doctor? It can be hard finding a doctor you can trust and that you feel comfortable with. At least you will get to see your mother, which should be some conciliation to the long travelling time.

Are you still enjoying the sale? Are there any games you are hoping will make an appearance?

*even bigger return hug*
