You know what's nice? When you've gorged on so many games that you can't even muster up any kind of regret when you miss a few list items.

Yes, it looks good. A new D&D RPG, along with the added bonus of being able to find some friends and then torture them with evil trap configurations and monster encounters.

Anyone know if pixel piracy is really so bad as the reviews make it to be?
Maybe there's been major updates since the reviews? since they're all from last december ...

I've been dying to play a pirate RPG. Every mechanic in the game sounds amazing and right up my alley...

And even I'm not going to touch it with a 10 foot pole, even at $2. I know that's probably not the first hand experience you were hoping for but maybe it'll help with your decision.

Of course, I also can't stand the visuals LOL.

I find it hard to go by those screenshots, to know if I'd like the graphics. sometimes they're better on a large screen (or worse) ... hmm, but most reviews are about bugs and that noone was working on it anymore. it's been half a year I thought maybe someone knows if the situation has improved.

edit: just now thought about the obvious: checking the pixel piracy gog forum seems like there's been quite a few updates since the last review including talk of an enhanced edition (which is just the updates) dating as near as 28.05.15 http://www.gog.com/forum/pixel_piracy/changelog/post1

I have it and it's not bad but it's ugly and it's weird! :P It's kind of a Terraria clone, not quite as good, with blockier graphics and a little more action oriented. I eventually had to find a starters help page just to get pointed in the right direction and I'm enjoying it but it was obviously made by someone with limited programming experience.

OK, Bard Boy Walton is going to fall into bed. thanks, I think I'm getting it. I rarely go under 4 star rated games and I was wondering why that was one of the worst rated games on gog. I'll just try it out, since I still have some budget.
