EndreWhiteMane: Good idea, Deadlock 1 is very enjoyable. Haven't tried the others.
Have you played Redline ?

EndreWhiteMane:

No I haven't.

EndreWhiteMane: Sorry, I did forget. :-(
Try these:

You may know of those already but those sites may help you find even more.
In the meantime I'll keep looking.

Edit: I am seldom if ever bothered by the nice people in this thread.
Hmm...thanks for the links...:)
Its downloading quicker than I thought. A little over an hour and 1/3 done. The downloader's doing a steady 1.4+ MB/s and seems quite happy ;-)

Nice! If mine would always go that fast I'd be happy.
It's when it crawls along at 1/100 of my connection speed that I get a bit miffed.

That is incredibly frustrating. I've had things tick over nicely and suddenly plummet to almost nothing for no aparent reason. Then it starts to get painful. Weird that your Desura stuff was quick compared to here. Maybe it was glad to leave a sinking ship.

Most of the Desura files were quite small. I love nice games without bloat, shows how much care some devs put into their work.
I think the average size was about 200-300MB. (Rough guess)

That's a problem i constantly had with Steam (of have when i use it nowadays). Hiccups in the connection all the time...never happened with the Gogdownloader for me which can keep the speed for me :)

Edit: added missing words..

Anyone else feel that the Twitch streams are basically giant spoilers?

No release streams...?

That size or smaller is great. You can get a load done in no time. One advantage of good old games.

When it works steadily its really good. Most of the time it keeps the same speed, which has made the last couple of weeks a lot easier than it might have been.

That's one of the main reasons i don't use Galaxy. The Downloader is faster and more reliable imho at the moment.

Yep. I like a review or two and to know the developer's track record, then I trust my gut and judge it on cost.

Is the GOG Downloader being replaced at some point? Thought I heard something about that.
