It's strangely addicting, although it has the same learning curve as the other sim/survival games I've played - easy beginning, tough balancing act in the middle. I'm assuming that the endgame becomes easier, but I'm at the "not enough resources to build anything else but everything needs something" stage, so we'll see how it goes.

I thought I did (uninstall/reinstall mouse/pointer driver as necessary), but it's still doing it. Very very annoying, since it only started sometime last week.

Doing... okay, if less well than I was an hour ago. (It's a long story. It has to do with living conditions, and it's not really worth getting into at this point. :/ )

Banished is really well done, and the tutorials are decent, although a bit quick/short on details, especially once you start having to juggle multiple middle-to-advanced buildings. I've played enough of these over the years to recognize the sort of general 'bell curve' of difficulty, but not enough to be really good at them. So far, I've got people dying off left and right during the winter. I may just start a new game and concentrate on fishing/hunting/gathering and housing for the first while, before trying anything more advanced.

Okay..hopefully it'll improve to better than okay soon :)

Come over here, there are a lot of nice places in Berlin if you skip the classic tourist sites. Perhaps you want to visit the gaming museum - I didn't manage to get there yet, but it sounds really interesting :D
