Stilton: Looks like we've hit that (quiet) time of the evening where everyone's recharging...

Hope Agent's OK with his withdrawl from the dentist's drugs.
Yes. Seems so.
Hope so too and he isn't posting random things...;)

What part of Germany are you in - I've been there a few times. Very nice country.

I'm from Hamburg - we'll we have some really nice regions in Germany :)...
I've yet to visit the UK but i definitely want to - when i'm done with my masters programme :).
I stayed in a town called Detmold a couple of times, and then in Unna (I think that's how its spelled). I did some travelling around in Koln and Dresden. Saw Herman the German - amazing statue, and enjoyed the food and beer. Met some really nice people, too.

Well you chose some really good places - the people from westphalia are really nice. And i actually haven't been to Teutoburg forest yet.
And both Dresden and Köln are great cities :)

I was amazed by the amount of woodland there is, and the strong sense of history, even in the landscape. That was something I missed a lot when I visited the US and Canada - there's such a lot of cultural age in Europe and the UK, you somehow feel it in the landscape.

Small world! I went with an artist friend who had an exhibition here: http://www.kunstvereinunna.de/

We spent a couple of days there hanging his work and getting the lighting right. Nice place. We stayed with another friend in Dortmund (at least I think it was Dortmund ;-))

Well, if it was bigger and quite grey, it must have been Dortmund. I love it! :D
I was born there and grew up halfway between Dortmund and Unna.
