EndreWhiteMane: Mr Crow, would you check your chat please? ;)

j0ekerr: The bloody lagging chat caused an embarrasing moment there.

Who likes Imperialism?!!!
You can't get rid of that one, I sent you the second one so now you have the full series!

PalioDeMonte: *returns hug*

You're cheering me up, as always :D

Good to see that my mighty bow didn't miss that little french owl. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did back then...
I'm sure I will... I've never played it, but it looks very funny !
Did you buy some things for yourself, at least ?... :)

PaterAlf: I'm not sure if the books work as good when you start reading them at the age of eleven or twelve and just read one after another. I guess if you do so, you will like the first ones and dislike the later one, because they deal with themes that are for an older readership.
Actually I was pretty much an adult when I read the first Potter book. What brough me to the series was its early naive charm, the teen angst of the latter books, not so much.
Damn I'm so happy that I see people gifting each other!

ddickinson: Surrender for what? I have no idea what you are talking about. :-)
I have proofs in my chat box !!! >:-|
AgentBirdnest is a true hero of the forum and deserves as many of the +1s known to exist for the INCREDIBLE gift he just sent me. Hit all of his posts with everything you have, people - he deserves it!

I got nothing! Buh I'm just kidding okay will do!

Stilton: I got Psychonauts and Tropico Reloaded, one of which was on my wishlist and one an impulse buy I think my daughter will like (Psychonauts). She likes offbeat things and is currently playing Sims 4 with some really weird and funny characters she's made.

I hope you get your ear sorted out soon; nighttimes with something like that throbbing away can be unpleasant. Apparenly an olive oil drip is a good thing to use to resolve some ear problems...
Psychonauts seems like fun, I think I own that on Steam but I still need to get around to it. Sims can be pretty fun, if you're playing with another person or something like that.

Yep, the doctor's assistant recommended that as well, so I'll be starting that today.

LaPtiteBete: Great too, now that I'm no longer in my warm-as-hell car :-D
Haha, you deserve a cool drink too. ;)

Hey my French friend how are you?

AgentBirdnest: **Gets several thousand paper towels to clean up slime**
Hmm... indeed, we can always count on you to be tired :'-( ... Hopefully you'll be able to get some decent rest over the weekend... (and if not, you can punch me in the head.)
Oh, cool! Sounds lovely there! It is warm and sunny here, too. I don't dare show my arms in public though :-o ... n__n
Feeling good, despite an upcoming dentist appointment >__< ... enjoying the lovely company here, and looking forward to spending some time with my friend tonight :-)
**Big bright and happy hug**
Working in the Environment field, I feel mad to see you wasting all these paper towels ! >:-|
**Push Agent in a pool instead**
And... how punching you in the head will help me feel less tired ?... ô__ô
Cool program... except for your dentist appointment, of course... hopefully it will be quickly done !
**Big tight happy hug**

How old were you exactly. Would have guessed for a 15- or16-year-old the first books would feel too childish (the same way that the last books would be too dark and complex for most 11- and 12-year-olds.
For adults it doesn't matter that much (I was an adult as well and liked the series for the entertaining story, the good writing and the naive charm you mentioned).

But maybe I'm just babbling and my whole theory is completely wrong. ;)

ddickinson: But you would only get one shot, so you would have to get the hight correct, and I don't think you know how tall I am. :-)
1,68 m !
Hi Bete!

I've been trying to say hello for the last ten minutes but my browser is being slow and the amazing people here have been hitting me on the head with gifts.

So finally, hhheeeeeelllllooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

LaPtiteBete: Hey, Ghost !!!
**Big squishy happy hug back**
No time for poetry !!! Grab your sword, and fight !! >:-\
How are you doing ?... :-)
Well my swords are all out getting dry cleaned... but I did bring some sticky noodles.

However, I'm lawful neutral when it comes to ninja gifters... and who has time to fight,
when we are busy giving plus ones to their posts. :D

I'm well and happy, juggling time betwixt writing, cooking and playing games...
even got some extra sleep once during the week. heh!

Be sure to let the sunlight touch your arms whilst you are out and about without your layers on... :)
and please be sure to be taking good care of yourself, as it makes us happy to know you are doing good too!

Yes I did. And I was giftbombed by DD and ElT also. My haul so far is: The Dig, Loom, Zak McKracken, Monkey Island 2 (the rest of the LA-Bundle I was missing), Beyond Good and Evil (gifted by ElT), Tales of Monkey Island (gifted by DD). I also have another copy of Toonstruck left which I consider keeping for myself - not sure about that yet. That also brought me the first 2 tiers of free games, so add Stalker:CS and SimCity2000 to the collection...

I consider Toonstruck to be extremely funny. More mature than it looks at first sight :D
