ddickinson: You are most welcome.

How are you today?

PalioDeMonte: I'm doing great - being gifted and having the chance to gift is always a nice feeling, as long as I don't look on my credit card bills ;)

Also having a nice day at work - time to turn on some music
That was awesome! Love that song, and some of the most beautiful women ever. ;)
Oh, wow, the next song is exactly describing what's happening here

LaPtiteBete: Agent !!!
**Big slimy hug** (because just been hugged by our blob)
I'm doing great, despite quite tired (I feel like I say it everyday... lol)
The weather is wonderful today, I even took off my cardigan, and have short sleeves !!! :-O (my colleagues just can't believe it ; I have always 3 tons of clothes on...)
What about you ? how are you feeling today ?
**Another big sunny and warm hug**
**Gets several thousand paper towels to clean up slime**
Hmm... indeed, we can always count on you to be tired :'-( ... Hopefully you'll be able to get some decent rest over the weekend... (and if not, you can punch me in the head.)
Oh, cool! Sounds lovely there! It is warm and sunny here, too. I don't dare show my arms in public though :-o ... n__n
Feeling good, despite an upcoming dentist appointment >__< ... enjoying the lovely company here, and looking forward to spending some time with my friend tonight :-)
**Big bright and happy hug**

EndreWhiteMane: I'm good here today.
I'm afraid my dumb dog would keep getting caught in them.
Maybe some lasers would work?
Glad to read you're doing good !!!
Ho yeah... I didn't think about your dog...
Hum... :-|
Yes, lasers which works just at DD's head height !! >:-D

ddickinson: Ice-cream for breakfast? That does not sound very French. That sounds more like something those there Americans would eat. Don't worry, I won't tell Owl you blew your cover, again. :-)

I am glad to hear you are doing well. Fingers crossed things stay that way.

*big return hug*
Really? I thought it was à la mode. (I know a French word! \o/)

Thanks for the crossed fingers. Hope you keep doing well too :-)

*another big hug*

LaPtiteBete: Yes, lasers which works just at DD's head height !! >:-D
But you would only get one shot, so you would have to get the hight correct, and I don't think you know how tall I am. :-)

FearfulSymmetry: Which ones did you get? :) Nice to hear you're feeling good.

No, it's all right during the day as long as there's other sound and I have plenty of things to distract me. When I'm trying to sleep it comes back to haunt me, though, and I can't sleep with music on. :P
I got Psychonauts and Tropico Reloaded, one of which was on my wishlist and one an impulse buy I think my daughter will like (Psychonauts). She likes offbeat things and is currently playing Sims 4 with some really weird and funny characters she's made.

I hope you get your ear sorted out soon; nighttimes with something like that throbbing away can be unpleasant. Apparenly an olive oil drip is a good thing to use to resolve some ear problems...

FearfulSymmetry: Pretty good, now that I'm no longer in that warm train. :) How are you doing? *big hug*
Great too, now that I'm no longer in my warm-as-hell car :-D

She'll probably get down with the dog and and crawl under them.
Not very effective but would make one hell of a funny picture. :-)

CarrionCrow: Finally. It's almost like GOG gets mad at me for keeping 4 tabs open while using the downloader.

Also, the general lag is getting kinda bad.

j0ekerr: I'll say!

And the not-notifications are wreaking havoc.
Yes, they certainly are.

Good timing, also. If people would press the little green buttons next to the posts by the ninja rabbit, I'd appreciate it. =)

j0ekerr: I liked how simple and straightforward the first Potter books were, it doesn't delve into complex issues and thus it's perfect for children. Wizard society, makes pretty much no sense and ran exclusively on the power of plot, but that was ok. Later books when some of the interaction between muggles and wizards was explored, the whole thing fell apart at the seams.
I think the Harry Potter books worked quite well for their readers, because the first generation of kids who read them grew up together with their hero There was one book per year and so it wasn't such a big problem that the story became more complex and darker with each book. I remember how I was completely nerved by the way Harry Potter acted in the first 300 pages of The Order of the Phoenix. He was a bratty, spoiled teenage boy and as an adult I didn't like his behaviour. For most teenagers it was ok though, because they felt more or less the same way than him.

I'm not sure if the books work as good when you start reading them at the age of eleven or twelve and just read one after another. I guess if you do so, you will like the first ones and dislike the later one, because they deal with themes that are for an older readership.

EndreWhiteMane: Mr Crow, would you check your chat please? ;)
The bloody lagging chat caused an embarrasing moment there.

Who likes Imperialism?!!!

BillyMaysFan59: Search your feelings, you know it to work! *waves lightsaber around*

*switches to defense position in case ninja gifters come my way*

Can't complain, think I have a quiet day ahead of me. Likely going to visit with relatives this weekend

And you?
**Only just avoid the lightsaber**
Relatively calm here too... But I have a lot of late work to catch up, due to random personal appointments... I'll probably have to work at home tonight, which is not really exciting... other than that, a pretty cool weekend in sight...
Good morning!
I'm catching up here and I see that there are some hitmen and ninjas hiding around.
So nothing unusual...
