moonshineshadow: Very well, Stilton! :D
I am doing great, on holidays at the moment, camping trip along the river Donau until Budapest and then in the end a few days at lake Balaton :-)

Btw. you guys are writing too much now that the sale started, it is very hard to read through everything ;-)
Ah yes and more +1 for dd please if possible :-)
Damn, I missed you ;-( I'm glad you're well and having a good holiday. Its good to see reality instead of PC games for a while, and there's nothing like travel to open your mind and senses. Its always interesting see how different people do the same things ;-) Enjoy yourself! (don't worry about the games - they'll be around again) ;-)

Remember how you said it took you 2 months to download everything of yours?

I am amazed you didn't lose your frigging mind doing it with a data cap. I'm ready to scream and I don't have to contend with that.
Has anyone but Gunny and I played with the Serpent in the Staglands demo?
I'm rather falling in love with the game.

It was pretty crazy, I did put a lot of stuff in the downloader all at once and left it alone to chew on it.
It was 100% reliable for me, even when the net connection blinked.

How secure is GOG? Compared to Steam or Humble Bundle? Any guesses?

I've been doing that for weeks now. I get annoyed at large files, though, so I'll keep shoving smaller ones through so it at least feels like something's getting done faster.

Haven't played the demo, but I'm already planning on buying the game when I have more money.

Bummer :(

Anything new in the thread over the last few hours?

What game what demo? I'll admit to being a sucker for demos and it seems like they're making a comeback after a long hiatus. Wouldn't mind a new one to chew on here and there...

Get away from the screen for a while (its basically a lamp), lay down in a darkened room and relax. Take something for it too if you want and switch off. And drink some water - irrigation helps.

Referring to Serpent in the Staglands, an independent RPG that came out recently.

I actually tried to download that one recently! Had a weird error message and ended up deleting after a redownload didn't fix it :(

I had a virus warning but ignored it with no bad results. (so far) :-)

Good advice, it's what I do.

I would have ignored a virus warning too - the game is on GoG so I trust the devs and I downloaded from their site. This was an odd one from my OS about encryption so I held off. On the bright side, I don't think the game was exactly my cup of tea so I'm not too worried.

I'm... feeling a long weekend. Between a lack of anything important tomorrow, the sale and my desire to spend the day brewing I think I will *ahem* make it so. Yes I'm in a Star Trek sort of mood.

This is where I got the demo.
Nice deal on Gods Will be Watching.

Too bad I have such bad memories of the first episode of Tales of Monkey Island. That's an attractive cut but probably too much for me to risk stilll.
