ne_zavarj: We will see . By the way the GnuCash website is online again .
Thanks. Good to know. I watched the videos you posted. I think i could give it a try because my private account management couse use some improvements i think...

EndreWhiteMane: Sorry to hear that, but knowing you you'll do just fine.
Thanks. We'll see - but i'm not worried. Most of the other student will probably asleep anyway as i've the last presentation tomorrow....;)

Ixamyakxim: What's that creepy looking thing you have as an avatar?
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Actually if i look at it right I see a guy in an army helmet and battle dress.
Yup now that you point it out I see it too. Initially the helmet "brim" looked like a row of jagged teeth to me, and the night vision? mirror? looked like a dark evil eye LOL.

And I thought I'd been able to see avatars better since GoG upped the size of them recently. For instance, there's a guy here named jonnygogging or something? Never realized his avatar was a green butt until about a week or two ago. Always thought it was some iso rpg "nature / swamp" image LOL.
Didn't even notice this til now, it' kinda gets buried in the others.

I checked it out on YouTube. It looks pretty good. One for the wishlist.

EndreWhiteMane: Are you running it under Windows or Linux? I loved the Linux version, the other not so much.
Windows version .
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: A very late good morning all! Just had the best, and longest, sleep I've had in months.
No weird dreams, no waking up 20 times, just 12 hours of uninterrupted snooze. :-)
I needed that! Now, to check out that sale. ;)
That's nice. Almost nothing beats a good night sleep.

ElTerprise: Quite hectic - still working my presentation for tomorrow and now the fellow student who is the co-presenter is ill - so now i have to do everything...yay....-.-...but otherwise i'm fine :)..
I wish you success on your presentation.

l0rdtr3k: *coffee soaked hug*
And now I'm wet.
*hugs you back*

Thank you :)

ne_zavarj: Windows version .
I had some stability issues with it, it's been several years though, I'm sure it's gotten better.
It's one of the best pieces of FOSS out there.

I may be wrong but I think it is a image from a Call of Duty game.
What are the funniest/happiest games in GOG's collection? I seem to have an overload of serious/grim in mine. A bit of lightening up is in order...

Hi Leo, good to see you again.
Yes it happens so seldom it was kinda like taking a mini holiday. :-)

Toonstruck and Monkey Island are two that come to mind.
Many others here too, almost all are adventure games. That's the 'happy genre'. :-)

Seeing Nixon's face first thing didn't work too well. Not a fan. (BIG understatement)

There's a British cartoonist called Gerald Scarfe who travelled with Nixon on the campaign trail sometime back in the seventies. Scarfe's cartoons were brutally honest and Nixon couldn't stand him. But The New Yorker or someone was paying for him to be there so Nixon couldn't get rid of him. A self serving shit, like too many politicians.
For anyone who notices I have taken my wishlist offline.
I'm using it to store anything that 'might be interesting' but needs checked out more.
I don't want any rampant ninjas to waste their money on things I won't play. :-)
How are you people here? Hope not too many mad things going on!
For me, just a bit of work tomorrow morning, then it's a 4 week holiday - sprinkled with two evenings a week with some work.
Hoping perhaps for some jrpg discounts to surface...

I typed a looong reply and then thought better of it. No place for politics and 'police actions' here. ;)
