EndreWhiteMane: A handy tip boys and girls, for finding game specific forums that defy finding:
(Since the search on the game specific forums is once again borked)

Go to a games page and copy the url.

Change the word 'game' in the url to 'forum'.

Hit enter, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Thanks for the tip. I like to have the specific forums for games I own marked as favourite.

GOG has (kinda) gotten into the early access business.
avatar
ddickinson: But is that a good thing or a bad thing? It seems GOG is set on becoming more and more like Steam.
Early access is a game that is still in development. You never know hoe those games turn out in the end, if they ever get finished...

CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

Doing all right, waiting with fingers crossed that some high priority items show up in the next round of individual game deals.

How's your evening going?
Good evening, Crow!

I am glad to hear you are doing all right (is that the same as okay? I think it is.) What are your high priority games (feel free not to say if there are too many to list)? I think I will be in bed before the list updates, so I will have to see about some more gifting tomorrow. I am just a little of getting the third free game, which is on my wishlist. Other than that I am not too bothered about what games come up.

My evening was awesome, thank you for asking.

Isn't that the same thing GOG is offering?

Also, hello! How are you?

CarrionCrow: Hadn't seen it, but the concept looks interesting.

That game release is going to be huge, and GOG's working with the team to get as much traffic from it here as possible.
Glanced at the other thread and some people are already freaking out, but a closed beta for backers is a bit different from a public "throw money at us while our game's still broken, maybe it'll get done someday, maybe you'll all get screwed" display like the competition has no problem doing.
It is interesting, and could work out quite well for GOG, and us.
GOG and CDPR are also the ones to put up the codes to extend the The Bards Tale IV kickstarter freebies for another 24 hours.
Our baby's growing up. :-)

Glad to hear you are doing good.

I am doing great. I had a lovely evening with my partner. She went to bed after we had watched the sun set, as she has had a long and hard day.
Hi I'm new!!!

ddickinson: Good evening, everyone!

How are you all doing on this wonderful evening?

*hugs and silly waves*
Good evening *big hug*
Still doing ok here - what about you? Do you have a great evening?

avatar
adaliabooks: Right now I would say probably not. I'm tempted to just read how the story ends, or even get some cheats or something to just breeze through the rest of it because the gameplay is not fun..
But I've been distracted by far more enjoyable games, so whatever I do it probably won't be soon.

Thank you :)
I thank you and i had the same problem - other interesting games :).

You're welcome :)

That move makes sense. For every person who looks at the page and grabs some freebies, it's another person who might not have heard of or done business with GOG before. Really good advertising.

Also, that move helps to solidify their relationship with inXile since it's helping to bring more people to the Kickstarter for their next game.
No complaints whatsoever about a dedicated high-end RPG company being close with GOG.

CarrionCrow: Can't complain here, just waiting for the deal switch and downloading Act of War at the moment.
Less than 2 hours until that time. Hoping Rogue Squadron will show up

Good evening!

I see you picked up a few games. Are you hoping for any game in particular to come on sale?

I am doing great, thank you. My evening was awesome. :-)

Yes, it is.

There are quite a few at the moment, and it's shifting a bit as items show up, based on their level of discount.

Very happy to hear it. Downtime after working so hard is good. =)
