Wots all dis den?!
After a 2 hour or so period of rest the thread seems to be picking up again.
I do miss the frenetic activity of the flash sales. People loved to speculate on what game would be next. And it allowed for some very silly talks. It was GLORIOUS.

How's the sale turning out? ;) (not that I myself care for such matters, but it really seems to get people going)
Enjoy your cycling, if I tried that I'd probably melt.
Plus I don't have a bike.

Nice haul! I got the LucasArts bundle (owned two of them already), and DD gifted me 1954 Alcatraz. :)

Sounds good. Was thinking about the Lucasarts Bundle...well she gifted me A Golden Wake and i got M&B Warband from Billy :D.

The sale's timing was like a soothing balm to me. I'll be kicking myself for days for letting escape the bard's tale 24 hour backer free game deal.
Fortunately the sale happened right at perfect moment in time. So things balance out more or less and I can snatch mehself some fine booty! yaaaarrr!

If I hadn't, I'd have already gotten Baldur's Gate 2 EE. But after being heavily disappointed, that game's looking like more than I want to spend on a title with mixed expectations.

johnnygoging: Interesting. I've not played either Icewind Dale or EE. What you say is disappointing about EE? Or are you saying you're just disappointed with Icewind Dale?
I'm not disappointed with the original. What disappointed me is that anything new that the EE version provided wasn't enough to make me want to do the entire game all over again.
It has more options for characters, but in its entirety it didn't make me think that I wouldn't have been fine playing just the original classic version.

Nothing for me so far. I'm determined this time to only get something I intend to play in the very near future. At least that's the plan...

That's always the plan for me as well but it never works - but frankly i'm looking mainly for other games than those i got today :)

Frankly, I'm speechless.
Not yet. I'm trying to be fair here. The sale just started, it's not GOG's fault that my impulse control's so bad I've bought damn near everything, and I'm pretty much wired for Insomnia dashing all day long, so 12 hour gaps in sale turnover is going to start irking me a bit.
