Stilton: Things are good here, my blue eyed, Hypersomniac friend.

My daughter's alright, although the spinal curve has pregressed a little since we last talked. But we've got an appointment with the specialist at the end of July so we'll see what the state of play is then. So far we've been told its 'borderline' - surgery might become an option but not a necessity. We'll see. My daughter's still feeling good, though, which is the important thing.

How's everything with you? Good, I hope ;-)

I'm ok, thanks for asking.
A few days ago the hospital sent a letter telling us the appointment had been shunted back from July 27 to September 17. Then it became Viking time and I made a firm but polite phonecall (I was feeling unmovable at the time) and it was put forward to July 30, so only a loss of three days from the original date. I've no idea how they make these choices, but nearly two months extra to wait was completely unacceptable.

I'm glad things are good with you ;-)

Aside from the things you mentioned yesterday...is Redemption a decent game? I'm currently staring at the front page to make my round of purchases but i might need advice ;)
I'd say that it's good for a chuckle at how corny it gets. There's a good ending and a bad ending, and I'm going to go out of my way to get the bad ending so the whinging pain in the ass has nothing but misery in his existence.
That'll be fun. -laughs-

Reading the manual a bit, it's even more Diablo than I remember, all the way to needing certain stat scores to use certain Disciplines and being able to find spell tomes that allow for instant spell knowledge.
So if you feel like a Diablo clone with a vampire veneer over the top, it might be for you.
