CarrionCrow: That would be good. Really not in the mood to wait until Friday.
Sorry your head's hurting, hopefully it'll give you a break soon.
penumbren: Yeah... plus, if they want it to end before/shortly after Steam's sale, which seems to be their general idea, it really should start tomorrow to avoid major overlap, if the leaked dates are correct.
Thanks... pretty sure it will. I'm super-prone to headaches, so I'm far more familiar with them than I'd like to be.
Sidenote about what we're watching: While I grew up reading DC, it'd been twenty years before I picked them up again with the New 52 - watching Arrow has been fun because I'm not actually that familiar with the characters its drawn on. (Talk to me about Hawk and Dove or JLI/JLE, not the Gotham or Metropolis groups.) Getting to see Black Canary finally use the Canary's Cry? Chilling.
Agreed. Their best shot to make more money is to put out as strong a presentation as possible before the competition has a chance to try burying potential buyers in content.
Understandable, I tend to get those quite a bit as well, for no particular reason. Not exactly fun.
I'm not really familiar with comics in-depth, aside from the most widely known characters.
But I can see how there'd be an impact getting back into it after a couple decades away. It's good that you're enjoying them. =)
Watching an anime called Monster at the moment. I've heard that it's supposed to be a quality show with heavy psychological elements, which I find interesting.
On episode 6 now, and I think the slow burn of a 74 episode setup is leading to a lot of boring, drawn-out crap initially, though.
