j0ekerr: Exactly, but in suppository form. How else would you explain that feeling in your anus after you've been playing with the game for a couple of hours?
I haven't played it as of yet but good (?) to know....
avatar
CarrionCrow: Likewise, on all counts. If I don't have a good feeling just looking at the site, there's no way in hell I'm doing business with them.

Additional - Ohhhhhh man...there is something seriously wrong with how my mind works.
I have Vampire Bloodlines and Vampire Redemption on my desktop, and I went with Redemption to play.
That's like passing up a steak dinner to have a dollar burger from McDonald's that someone spit on first.

j0ekerr: It could be worse. It could be a white castle burguer.

It can always be worse.

ElTerprise: You mean it's bigger on the inside?

It's thoroughly depressing that someone who lives in Spain knows of such things...

If you're talking about white castle, my first contact with them was through that one [comic-sans]great and excellent[/comic-sans] movie.
Then in astounded disbelief I researched some more.
Then I weeped for all the meat that had been cooked in such a horrible way.
Then I realized that calling it "meat" is probably not very accurate, so no worries.

Well, at least you've never actually eaten one.
I had that opportunity, and for all the fanfare, they unsurprisingly turned out to be a massive disappointment.
Still trying to decide wether I back this kickstarter or not.

On the one hand I get just the promise of a game. Delivered when it's done.
On the other I do get Wasteland 2 right off the bat at half price.
On the other other hand that's 20 bucks less for the summer sale.

You just weren't in the right state of mind to fully appreciate their unique flavour. And by that I mean completely and utterly stoned.

Thinking of doing the 55 dollar tier next month. The Kickstarter will still be going, the sale will be over, and I'll be getting Torment and Bard's Tale 4 at a discount. Double win right there.

And yes, I'm sure you're right. If I'd taken enough pills and smoked enough pot that I was at a point where I couldn't feel my own body, the food probably would've been much better. -laughs-

A cunning strategy but there's an important caveat that will hamper its effectiveness in my case.
I do not already own wasteland 2.

True. That does throw a monkeywrench into applying my idea to yours.

Also, I just looked, and I'm thinking I'll want to get my hands on the Bard's Tale 1-3 novellas that they're putting out, in case I don't chew through the first three before it shows up, and that isn't a part of the 55 dollar tier.
That one is a straight bare bones offer of the two games, and that's it.

Damn it, I want to start up Wasteland 2, but it bugs the crap out of me that I haven't gone through the first one.
Problem is, the interface for the first is all kinds of archaic and pretty frigging user-unfriendly.

But don't you think they'll sell those digital extras later like they did with Wasteland 2?

I'm sure they will, it's just something I noticed.
Still need to get the other extras for Wasteland 2, now that you mention it.

Oh; so that is the difference between the classic and deluxe versions.

Yeah i saw that tier and interests me becauese Torment also looks promising. And the 20$ will also have a pretty barebones Bard's Tale IV....mayb i'll switch to the 50$ will all digital stuff at some point but not now....

Speaking of, do you have Wasteland 1?

Afaik that's the only difference between the versions, yes.
