ddickinson: Did he coin the whole PC elitist thing that people keep mentioning?
Apparently he invented the term 'PC Master Race' but afaik it was originally meant as a joke aimed at the elitist attitude of some pc gamers (but i actually don't know much about it)

l0rdtr3k: I had a very bad day I really needed to vent something that was in my chest for some time.
Don't worry. I think that we all in the thread can deal with it. I wanted to point out that generalisation is not helpful and i also mentioned earlier that I'm not a friend of these elistist attitudes either (mostly because i don't like elitism at all)...

l0rdtr3k: He coined it but it was a joke that the elitists took to heart and now use it to degrade consoles.
What has caused you to feel so angry? Did you read an article, or did someone say something that upset you?

EndreWhiteMane: Hi DD, back to the old schedule thank goodness.
Glad to hear your work has slowed just a bit too.
Haven't played The Fall yet, is it enjoyable?
I know how you feel. I am back to my normal schedule as well. *happy dance*

The Fall was good, but it has it's faults (which I won't go into, as I would feel so rude picking faults with a game I was gifted). It would be interesting to see when the next two instalments will be made, and if they will come to GOG to complete the story.
I HAVE A GRAY HAIR!

ddickinson: It's kept me off Steam all these years. :-)
You probably won't miss much - especially since Steam opened the floodgates...

I've seen some negative stuff in the reviews but adventure games seem to suffer from some faults by nature.
I'll have to start it up one of these days and try it.
Come in Gogbear, will you let me post something please.

It's horrible! My whole existence lies in ruins!

I don't need to worry about missing all the Steam stuff. It seems to all be coming to GOG anyway. :-)

I enjoyed the game, and the story was quite interesting. I played in on the Xbox controller (as I played it with my partner and she is more comfortable with a controller than a keyboard and mouse), but the controls could have been better. The interface is a little awkward, and the game is short (just as you start really getting into it it ends). But it was still a nice game, with some difficult puzzles, some fun little elements, and the gun fights, while basic, were quite fun. I would buy the second game if it came to GOG, to see how the story progresses. I think in total the game was about 4-5 hours long, give or take.

For some reason the game reminded me of an old Sci-Fi story, but I can't remember which.

Yes seems so. And you're not in danger to get drowned in tosh....

Are you sure about that? The forum sure has become a lot more hostile recently, with an increase in hatred, anger, and prejudices.

I was referring to games - but forums-wise you're unfortunately right. It's sad to see the recent developments in the forums...

That's true. Thankfully we have our safe haven. :-)
