CarrionCrow: Okay, cool. Thank you. Got that one, Lords of Xulima, Dark Souls 1 and Final Fantasy 3 on the desktop at the moment.
I know the last two are going to be varying degrees of beat my head against the wall hard, but wasn't sure about that one.
EndreWhiteMane: I need to just buckle down and play LoX for a straight few hours, I'm sure it's just me but it kinda turned me off from the very start. ;/
I think the combat has more positioning of your characters than I was expecting, so that looks like a system I need to get the hang of before finding something that wipes out my party.
Also, gotta say I wasn't a fan of them taking the kind of manual you usually get with an involved RPG and saying it was an extra you needed to pay more money for. I like to know exactly what the classes, spells and what-not are when I make a party.

Edit: At the moment I'm playing a VERY casual Viking strategy game. Don't really want to use my brain today. ;)
That's the upshot of having a boatload of games. Eventually you'll end up with something for every mood. =)
