ddickinson: I missed this in my first response.

Sorry to hear you are not having the best of mornings. I hope you will feel better as the day goes on. But I am glad to hear you had a great weekend. Lazy time can be a lot of fun when it is with someone special.

How is the puppy training going?
No worries at all. I've got more tests coming up at the Mayo Clinic, so hopefully we'll be closer to an answer soon (been close to 6 years with chronic nausea and emesis and an inability to hold down solid foods, so the sick mornings aren't really a big thing... it's just hard seeing the new guy have to get used to it...)

It's odd how much a little down time can do for you sometimes, especially when it's with someone you care about. I remember days when I felt I needed sensory input or some sort of adventure to be getting the most of my time, or of our time together when the lady and I get a moment away. Lately we've been much happier just enjoying the quiet, sitting out back and watching the stars, lying close and losing ourselves in books, etc. It's quite a nice chance of pace. :)
I'm back, and if my trusty old gut feeling is anything to go by it wasn't bad at all ;)

there were two things I'd swear I've never ever heard of before (Toxoplasmosis?, function of the periplasmatic space? hurmph o~O??)

but everything else went very smoothly. On to the next exam :D

Was there really some romanian arround here saying that kind of stuff about women -_- ? We should invent time machines if only to send those "people" back to the epoch in which they belong...to live with the other homo inanis primates >:O

On a different note, I'm fairly happy that the music was rather pleasantly recieved; as far as my judgmement of that work goes it really basks in inept mediocrity (still, for a first work you could do worse I suppose, with my kind of musical background).

Problem is, I'm not going to spend 700 euros on proffesional music creation software, and the program I use (a sonar x3 basic- 150 euros with soundpack dlc's) isn't exactly up to what I try to write. And it's not the kind of music you'd be able to get programmed for a concert hall either ;p

FearfulSymmetry: It wasn't as bad as the comment you found, but it still annoyed me. For some reason it's getting harder for me to just shrug those comments off as time passes.

I'm not exactly rested but I'm doing well otherwise. My thesis is almost almost done. :) I see your weekend was nice as well?
I actually have not ventured out of the thread that much this year, but when I do I almost always see those kind of threads and comments. But don't worry, you will always have us in the thread here for you. All the hugging keeps the monsters away.

*big monster scaring hug*

I am glad to hear your thesis is going well. Not long now until you can put it behind you and relax a little, but not too much. :-)
and my laptop is trying to force windows 10 on me......

GREAT

Soccorro: Those people used to be contained in Steam quarantine. But apparently GOG wants that kind of filth here. Worthless scum!
It's certainly odd to see on the GOG forums. I think people's views of the world differ pretty greatly, but I'm used to these forums being where the most open-minded and respectful gamers on the net seem to flock...

*Big thank you hug* Luckily the people in this thread aren't so narrow-minded.

A bit of relaxation will be good. And I'll hopefully be done with this academic year by the end of June. :)

Me and my partner love doing more adventurous stuff now and then, but we also enjoy just relaxing and spending time together. Lying down and watching the night sky is always fun, but then what isn't fun when you are doing it with someone you care about? :-)

Glad to hear the exam went well. I am sure you did great at it. Good luck with the rest of your exams!

A time machine would be fun. Perhaps we could use it to go back before DRM, bad DLCs, and Micro-transactions, then we could stop them before they even begun. :-)

might I inquire what your thesis is about? My older brother made his about a whole in depth literary/moral/ethic analysis of a set of batman comics ;)

Voor de rest (Roemeense holbewoners terzijde) ook nog alles in orde hoop ik? ;)

just wondering, if other (English speaking) people see that dutch sentence...what do they think it means? ;p

That's true. I think we are too overly friendly in here, it scares a lot of people off. But it seems to be working out nicely so far. :-)

Fingers crossed everything will go great for you. I wish you all the best and hope you get the grades you have worked so hard for!

Oh, that sounds like fun! Mine is about women in three books by Geoffrey Chaucer (famous for the Canterbury Tales).

Ja, prima, alleen vermoeid. Jij?

We'll keep em guessing. Or using google translate.

Do Mormons have a sense of humour? If they do, that means we can all make (tasteful) Mormon jokes? :-)
