By the way, I realize this is old news, but I just noticed it this morning.

So I come up agaisnt a couple of display case consoles at the store this morning, and take a good look at them, from real close.
First thing I notice is how DAMN HUGE the xBONE is. Then I put my hand over the grille and... Holy shit! This thing could be used to warm up a whole room during winter.

Then I put my hand around the ps4 next to it, trying to feel the flow of air, aha, found it! And it's a cool brreze by comparison.

M$ is basically a dead man walking.

Yet another reason to not buy one.

Whenever I get to that point, I'm getting a PS 4. Not paying Microsoft another dime for them to sell me a console that turns into a space heater and then a paperweight.

My weekend was very good, thank you. We played (and finished) a few games we had going (Clarc, Gone Home, The Fall, and Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack), had a nice meal, and just had a relaxing day.

My partner is doing very good, thank you. The farm is doing okay, all the hard work has been paying off and things are going quite nice. For the next few months things will be quite calm (as calm as it can be on a farm), but then it's harvest time again. :-)

Or you could just get a PC, they are about the same size as an Xbox :-). I wonder why the PS4 is cooler, given that it is a smaller unit than the Xbox.

How long to go before you find out about the summer sale?

It seems that almost every day now I read a new piece of hate, abuse, racism, sexism, or prejudice in general on the forum. I was just reading a very "interesting" comment by a Romanian about how all women are good for is sex and cooking and that we can't think and we should just be happy supporting our man.

*sighs*

I remember when this was a really nice place without all of these bullshit views that belong in the stone age.

I've been seeing this more and more as well. It's one of the reasons I do more lurking than interacting these days, and why I usually turn to this thread when I am comfortable enough to interact. It's not shocking to see on the internet at this point, but why these forums?

Having a bit of a sick morning, and it's worrying Sarge a bit to see me getting sick (something he'll get used to... just still a little pup, seems it's giving him a good scare) but we're getting in some good training regardless, and I'm trying to decide whether I want to continue Pillars of Eternity or The Witcher 3 once he goes down for a nap (and once I'm caught up on cleaning house)

Yes, this upsets me a lot too, which is why I mostly stick to this thread these days. I try to avoid threads that seem like they might be problematic, but even just yesterday I ran into a comment that was pretty nasty. It makes me so angry to see those things.

Well...it's looking like I stayed up an extra 3 hours to see an offer for an expansion to a game I can't run, and the prize for preordering that is getting games I already have.

Feels like I wasted my time a bit.

How is the puppy training going?

The world is full of people like that, not everyone has the same views on how to treat women, or those who are different (be that sexuality, gender, religion, race, and many other things). Some nations are worse than others, but those kind of people are everywhere. But it is sad seeing it on the forum, and becoming more and more common.

What got me is that the xbox has no right to run that much hotter when you take into consideration that the PS4 has its power source INSIDE its case.

It wasn't as bad as the comment you found, but it still annoyed me. For some reason it's getting harder for me to just shrug those comments off as time passes.

I'm not exactly rested but I'm doing well otherwise. My thesis is almost almost done. :) I see your weekend was nice as well?
