That's okay. I'm extremely used to that response, it tends to happen sooner or later.

My thought on it is that if people want a real horror game, then they need something that's truly horrible.
Monsters, ghosts, demons, immortal undead slashers, not a single one of those things are actually horrifying.
They're just the same tired constructs used again and again and again.

Something personal, though...something that people can relate to on a real-life level? That would make for a stronger experience.
Not a pleasant experience, by any means, but a stronger one.

That's a tough thing to do, I can sympathize since I think my wishlist is over 170 at the moment and I'm at a point where it feels increasingly silly to spend cash on more and more games when hundreds are already available.

As such, I've also been working on both a budget and a plan to minimize if not eliminate outright any more purchases for a while after the summer sale is over.

Ah okay. That sounds like a good plan albeit a tough one. And yes GOG likes to do such things unfortunately.
My wishlist is also very bloated and i feel i have to reduce the spending onf games signifianctly too....
But i wish you good luck with putting your plan into action :).

Didn't want to post in the other thread, it makes me feel tainted.

Perhaps it's true that inside every sane person there is an insane person just waiting to get out (Pratchett again), but I truly hope not.

Had a look at Staglands and played demo and it has possibilitys.
Bit of an eye strain at the moment and haven't figured out,how to
all party move at the same.Also buying something is a bit strange
unless it being a demo is reason.

also, discovered another lazyman's hobby, watching gameplay videos from youtube, of games I own in gog and like a lot, but it's easier this way...

I'm sorry but I'm an asshole about that. XD Ever since I had to give up drinking I rub it in when everyone around me is hung over. :D

There is precious little joy to be had from a life on the wagon so I grab what I can and bask in it. :P

Honestly, after going through that Hatred thread again I'm in no mood to give crap to anyone. That guy in there seriously needs a lobotomy.

In fact, my best wishes to you and I hope you don't have too much to do today. If you can just get in bed and sleep it off. You'll be fine before you know it.
