LaPtiteBete: Thank you very much... :'-|
I'm waiting for you then... :-|
Meanwhile, I'm gonna get my car back... Read you soon !!
**Big extra-crushing hug**
PS : I see you're stuck in a big hole, you're not about to arrive... lol
And I thought this ET games burial was a legend... ? :-)
I will have him out of the hole and back serving you in no time. :-)

And I think the ET game thing turned out to be true. I think someone did a documentary on it.

I guess I will be gone when you get back from collecting your car, so I will say my goodbyes and hope that you have a lovely day. Take care, lovely Owl.

*big happy hug*

I so wish Microsoft introduce tabbing in Explorer, when Windows 10 comes out.
At the moment, I am using Clover for Windows 7, and it looks excellent and is also lightweight, but I wish Windows had a native function like this.

ddickinson: Hmmm, so you can't climb up. If you hold on, I will pull you up. Then we can fill the whole you dug with horrible games and bury them, just like the ET games. :-)

Do you think you will upgrade to Windows 7 eventually, or jump straight to Windows 10?
\o/ Thank you!! Nobody can climb a rope. It's physically impossible! Oh, we could bury Hated* in there...
*clarification : I haven't even seen the trailers for the game. It may or may not be good, but the descriptions and news that I've read about it do not make me interested in the slightest.

I'm not sure what I'll do. Skipping straight to 10 sounds like a nice idea, but I'd like to hear some reviews and see if there are many compatibility issues first.

I'll be out of the hole in no time... DD is on it :-) ...and as she said, the legend turned out to be true. It was big news here about a year (or two?) ago.

Erm, I could rope climb at school, so I think it is definitely possible. :-)

I saw the gameplay and intro trailer for Hatred, and it was definitely not for me. And as Crow said, seeing the fan's attitudes on the forum, I definitely would not want to play it, and I am kind of glad it's not on GOG. So yeah, let's bury them in the hole you dug. :-)

Will Windows 10 play all of your games, or will many of them be broken? Perhaps you could dual boot so you can still have your current version of Windows to play games on in case Windows 10 breaks them.

Of course you could... you're a robot ;-p

I'm glad too that it is not on GOG. I finally just watched the trailer, and feel slightly bad about being a human. Someone show me a puppy or something :-p ... This is not a game to me, but a stunt. "Let's make something as shocking as possible to get sales." ... and it will work. I'm glad GOG at least has some quality control. It's Steam's job to sell anything and everything.

I don't know what Windows 10 will or won't break... I'll wait around to hear what others say about it. A dual-boot sounds like an interesting idea. I've never tried that before, perhaps I should give it a go :-)

That's one important thing i'd like to know as well because i generally want to update to Windows 10 from 8.1...
Morning! :D

Moin :)

BTW: Do you know this? I actually didn't know that until a fellow student sent it to me ;)
Well I had better get back to my hard work. Take care, everyone, and have a lovely day!

But I know several people who can climb a rope, so I don't think it's that uncommon. Unless we are all robots. :-)

Yeah, I did not like the theme of the game. Just look at how the fans of the game behave. Who knows if GOG will let it through or not, hopefully not. GOG rejects games all the time, and I don't see why this would be any different. The only difference is the topic of the game and all the hype/publicity.

I duel boot, but that is between Mac and Windows, so I am not sure how easy it is for two Windows to run on the same system.

I am still on Windows 7 for my gaming. I did not like the look of Windows 8, and as I only use Windows for gaming, Windows 7 will do me fine for now.

I got Windows 8 with my laptop and i'm not a huge friend of the look either but appreciate the tweaks in the system and i'm looking forward to Windows 10 because of the changes to the look and feel to the system :)

And as if on queue, the heavens open and very strong winds and heavy rain beging to fall. There goes some of my plans for the day. Hopefully it won't last long, as I need to get some things done or my long days may spill over into next week. :-(

I have not really looked into how Windows 10 looks. I might have a look at some point, just out of curiosity.

From what i know. the Startmenu returns and they try to combine Desktop and Modern UI to some degree, i.e. modern ui apps can run on the desktop etc..
But i'm curious too and it'll be free after all (although i still suspect a catch somewhere...)

yep and likewise! :D
Good morning, all! *waves, offers hugs*

I've got quite a bit of catching up to do, but am just dropping in to say hello! Just got back from the vet with Sarge, he's 8 weeks now and has tripled in weight since we took him in at 4 weeks, is healthy and has been much happier and well behaved at home. He's taking to clicker training like a champ, too. :)
My test at the Mayo Clinic went well yesterday, got to eat radioactive eggs, am hoping to learn something new from it soon! I'll get more caught up on all that's happened here before rambling further about myself. ;)
I hope you're all doing well! I'll pop in a bit later once the little guy is down for a nap and catch up on this and a few other of my favorite threads.
Hello again... is there still some coffee ? :)
Hope everyone is still doing good... ?
