ZenWan: I do think that some people don't know when to stop, even here. Enough already, take it somewhere else.
Can't say I've ever found any of your posts offensive - 'bad' language doesn't bother me. You have a way with words, and you're very witty when you're mad, even when you're not. ;-)
Thanks for the link - good post in that thread, and yes, he had it coming. What with that thread, at least 2 others I think I ran across yesterday, plus the wishlist comments, one can say with absolute certainty that most Hateful fans are pathetic and rather hateful themselves, to say the least.
I had a lot of fun with the +1's, also the -1's.
I read somewhere that you lose rep for every posts you downrep, is that so? If so, I'll be in the minuses myself at this rate. My life will be ruined. <laughing>
If I'd ever had any intention of buying the game, I most certainly wouldn't do so now, no matter where it turned up.
Time for me to go, I see.
Take care, sleep well when you do.
That's good, figured I'd mention it just in case. Didn't seem appropriate to send you something of me going off without mentioning it.
It's all about the approach, and that's what so many people are missing utterly.
If you want people to understand and eventually come over to your position, screaming at them or insulting them isn't going to do it.
All they've managed to do is generate negative response to the game, the developers and themselves for their comments.
If GOG was contemplating having an in-depth discussion with the public, why on earth would they actually go through with it, based on what they've already seen? It'd be entirely pointless.
-laughs- I think you'll be okay. That isn't the case, and even if it was, it doesn't sound like your happiness is dependent on the size of a number on a video game store forum.
Agreed. I would have purchased it at some time when it was on sale.
But I'm not a fan of outrage hype generation. It's a cheap tactic, and it makes me think that it's being used because there's very little beyond that to point out as qualities.
More than that, I already strongly dislike being associated with the overall perception of video gamer, since it's so ridiculously childish.
Given that most of the people I've seen pushing for the game exemplify every one of those negatives? There's no way in hell I'm buying it, now, later or ever.
I'll stop blabbing so you can stop wrestling with your computer lag.
Have a good day, talk with you later on. =)
CarrionCrow: -laughs- Yes, it doesn't seem good to end up with reminders of when some inept person screwed up on your skin.
EBToriginal: I think out of everyone so far, I have actually been the worst person to add to me :)
I keep thinking how to tie a tattoo in to this at some point too, just to say I have one. (Piercings and scars interest me much more as far as living art goes, but I kind of feel remiss not having something. Originally I was going to turn a patch of jumbled shapes on the back of a lower leg in to a stained glass looking panel with the pride colors in it, but that set proved too shallow to not heal away.
Damn 11pm I should sleep.
Ah well. Chalk it up to initial experimentation. =)
Interesting concept, maybe you can figure out how to take the idea and utilize it on its own, so you don't have to contend with getting tattoo ink into scar tissue. Have heard that can be rather difficult.
My concern is that once I get an idea of what to do, I'll end up building on it and it'll never end.
11 here as well, but no sleep planned any time soon.
If you're heading off to bed, have a good night and sleep well. =)
