EndreWhiteMane: Evening sir, how's life today?
Fairly active today. Did a bunch of computer-related stuff for people, helped out my roommates since their return, did some yard work, ran some errands, got back, got my Shadowrun stuff before the offer expired (saving myself roughly 100 dollars thanks to the sale), picked up Stranger's Wrath so I am now at an even 800 games, and now I'm indulging in a non-diet soda while chewing through downloads (205 of 800 and counting) and enjoying the box fan that's roughly 8 inches from my face since it is frigging warm outside.

I saw you mention that the work thing's kicking your ass a bit. You did a good thing by covering for the boss, but it's also good that it'll be over soon.
Also, you don't strike me as the kind of person who'd bullshit and scam their way to disability.

And I got a new mouse. Almost forgot that part. Old one was dying, so now I'm getting used to one that's actually the right size for large hands.

Wow, quite a day! ;)
I have a lot of things to do at work yet but after this week I can do them when I feel up to it and at my own pace, which is much easier on me.
The Shadowrun stuff sounds neat, I didn't realize there was a well developed 'universe' to it.
The mouse sounds good, I need to get a bigger one, this one kills my wrist after a while.

Whatever works better so you're not wrecked when you're done. Being totally wiped out isn't exactly fun.

Yes, it's been around for decades and the fifth edition is rolling along.
I enjoy the Shadowrun games now, but when they can put the level of depth into them that the books have, their sales will go through the roof, I'm sure.

I kinda tore the package to pieces, but I can see what the type of mouse is that I got...

Okay, what I grabbed is a Logitech M510 wireless mouse. Ran about 30 dollars, but it's definitely larger than the cheaper types that were available.
Old nerve damage is acting up a bit using it, but that tells me that my hand is adjusting to having more room, which should be good in the long run.

Just visited the Shadowrun site, had no idea of how popular it was.
I see Hong Kong should be here soon and noticed Chronicles for the first time, have you tried that one?
Edit: Just noticed it's online stuff. nvr mind. ;)
I just need to dig through my junk, I'm sure I have an old MS Ergo mouse somewhere.

I watched the Kickstarter for that one as it went along, and it hit enough stretch goals that a lot of it should be getting revamped.
Along with that, the characters look interesting and the setting should be pretty cool as well.
Definitely a sooner rather than later purchase.

-laughs- Actually thought about getting Chronicles, but its quality doesn't look as good as the singleplayer games, so between that and not being big on multiplayer, figured it'd be a waste of money.

Haven't ever used that type, are the Ergo models built for larger hands?

Yeah, they're big old bulky things, comfortable as hell.
It'd be USB but that no big deal for me.

Sounds like a plan, then.

That's funny, I was actually looking for a mouse that was wired, but there wasn't a single one in the store.
Even the shitty cutrate bargain basement items were wireless.

Maybe you should go check second-hand / flea markets :)

Ah, the lovely 11h day is here again :) going to come home from work in the evening.
But at least this weekend is pretty much free and am going to enjoy the shit out of it :)
Grid Race driver is a strange game. Some of the races are really really hard (at least for me).
Like a demolition derby and a 24 minute race... then just went and tried a more regular race and was first after couple of tries.
Ah, that new Shadowrun... Loved the first one. Did you guys ever try any of the player-made scenarios? I thought they were a bit too dull, but didn't really play a lot of them.
Hoping the Summer sale is coming and bringing Dragonfall at a ridicilous price :p

Well, fuck...so much for keeping the mask firmly intact.
--Conversational FFA Thread Song of the Day--

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons - Who Loves You

I've heard that song on the radio before and got hooked but never was able to find the name until now.

?
This mouse is nice. It's got 4 programmable function buttons, so now I have my volume controls loaded into it.

Not sure what to use the other 2 buttons for yet, though.

Let myself stop being polite and went with being honest instead.
I try to avoid doing that since my brand of honesty usually comes with a mountain of hate included.

Did you venture out of our congenial little thread again? :-)

Yes. Going to stop doing that. Last thing I need is to shift back to bad habits and end up being one of the people banned when forum moderation comes along.

I knew which thread it was without even looking. :-)
That asshole deserved every word of it.
You'll probably get +1'd to death for that. ;)
