ddickinson: Now I remember.

Also, I am not liking this new bug where if you make a post it is hidden until someone else posts. What is strange is that it's only hidden for the person posting, as you can see the post when logged off. It seems to happen when the post is on a new page, not sure if it's just a bug at my end or if others have noticed it.
Happens to me too now and again. I solved it at times by changing the posts-per-site setting...

Damn you, games larger than 2 gigs!

Every time those pop up, they grind any perceived progress to a halt as the downloader gnaws on them for hours.

Yeah rthink so - but unfortunately this workaround doesn't work always and it also gets annoying to constantly changing the setting...

Do you think a new forum is on the way? I think it could be, judging by many of the strange bugs lately. I just hope if we do get a new forum that it is handled better than the whole site redesign and the account system redesign.

Yes, I am. It's been bugging me for a bit that I had old and new installers mixed together, so I deleted my folder and started over.

Can't complain here. Got my errands done, did what I needed to around the house, so now I can fiddle with downloads for a while.

If Galaxy is a viable option immediately, I'll use that. If not, I'll keep updating things manually.
Figuring it'll take weeks to complete everything, so I can't see myself redoing the entire stack again and again.
