Good evening. =)

How's your weekend been going?

CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

How's your weekend been going?
All things considered, not bad. How's yours?

Can't complain here. Roommates are gone, I'm petsitting.
Thankfully their animals are pretty well behaved, so it's not bad.
Definitely a good thing since it's been raining heavily all day, so all of them have been inside for the most part.
I have no desire whatsoever to spend half a day washing muddy spastic dogs.

Beyond that, it's a quiet evening.

From what you've described, the "spastic" part shouldn't really be a problem. ;-P

Raining heavily all day, eh? Is that normal for this time of year?

I'm fighting mosquitoes, less fun than petsitting.

The rain is a bit odd, but welcome. It generally doesn't rain very much here at all.
But I don't mind, and it has the added effect of reducing the amount of flies and mosquitoes that tend to start showing up around the start of summer.

Hate those things.
My head hurts fuck tons more than the surgery location. Massive throbing pain anytime I stand up.

It does? Quite interesting, doesn't make a difference here, at least regarding mosquitoes, don't really have flies. What attracts flies?

Not sure, honestly. There's no food and no water, but every year there are swarms of them.

We lost half of our bats this year so the mosquitoes are probably going to take over this summer and no I'm not joking.

With as much snow as your location gets, that's going to make for a hell of a lot of stagnant water eventually.
You have my sympathies. Used to live near a swamp, wanted to burn it all to the ground since it was such a massive breeding ground for the little bastards.
Hi everyone, it's a cool morning here, and I'm listening to some beautiful jazz..

When I Come Home - Jimmy Greene, Javier Colon - A wonderfully moving tribute from jazz saxophonist Jimmy Greene to his daughter Ana, who died at the age of six in the Sandy Hook School killings.

Glad you got that rain, @Crow, a good day's rain does wonders to get rid of dust, not to mention assorted bugs, the type I also loathe.

I have often wondered why the poor little bee that stings you has to die, but the mosquito just grows stronger, and lives to bite another day. Should have been the other way around, bad job there.

Good to see you again @HypersomniacLive, I hope that your back is feeling better. Sorry for my rudeness in never replying to your long-ago PM (RIP) but you are one of those who never showed up in my chat list at all, and trying to send you a chat / start a conversation, or whatever silly term they are now using, just gives me GOGspinning.

I tried to find a way to use Galaxy to download some games without installing them, but no luck. Anyone know if that can be done?
Also if it's possible to install games to an external hard drive? I have asked about this a few times, here and elsewhere, but no joy. I guess I'd better brave the Galaxy thread, or perhaps I'll try the blues, if they aren't too busy with Ricky and all his friends...

Hope you all have a good day / evening. Hope I get some of @Crow's rain, but I know that hope is a vain one. :-(
