Heh! I was just watching some of my old samurai movies last week, Samurai Rebellion, Sword of the Beast, Kill, Samurai Spy and Yojimbo. :)

Haven't seen much of the Anime and Manga animated movies or shows...

But the live action films are great and are on Netflix.Also,try to watch Samurai 7.

Well, since they are on Netflix, I'll give them a watch (and wrote them down for future reference).

If I can get through the first 5 or 10 minutes, I'll watch the next 30 minutes, and if I can get thorugh
that, I'll probably watch the rest of the movie (or show, series). my general rule of watching things
on Netflix. heh!

Home from my surgery now three days in a hospital bed is boring as hell.

I'm happy and well, but hungry, and about do cook something up to remedy that. ;)

I'm mostly spending time on my works, and on some game time,
so I haven't been able to be on the Forum as much lately.

Cooking all, or most of the food you eat saves money, but not time, except perhaps in the long run. heh!

I don't know if they had Internet, but I didn't feel like risking something getting swiped, when the alternative was no internet for three days. They had TV though, and I havent't watched normal television in years so that kept me entertained in a stoned on morphone way. The surgery (vaginoplasty) itself went quite well and I tend to heal well from surgery.

IMO Buffy is one of the greatest shows ever made. So full of metaphor and just impertinent good writing, hidden under seemingly shallow "Monster fighting teen" stories. Angel is nice, and recommendable since it ties in with Buffy, but can't reach the depth of the former. Still, get both and a "watch order" guide, since there are a few tie-ins/cross overs that make no sense otherwise.

And throwing DS9 and Voyager into the same pot is worthy of tarring and feathering >:-(

Rest assured that I'm not throwing them into the same pot, in any comparison, it's just that both
DS9 and Voyager are both almost 300 dollars... So I'll wait for a sale on both of those before getting them
no matter how good they are... :P heh!

I'll give Buffy a watch, and see if I can't move it up in priority, with the weight of your recommendation too!
