It's not that I hate working so much, but I just miss spending time with my partner. I can handle the extra work and feeling exhausted, but I hate missing out on being with my partner, so I definitely can't wait to have my evenings back.

We have lots of fun things planned once I have my evenings back. I will still be working 12+ hours, but I will not be working so late and I will have lots more time to relax and enjoy some time with my partner. I think the first week I am back to my normal hours will be spent just relaxing and catching up on some much needed rest, then after that we have lots of fun things we can do, especially with it being summer soon. But to be honest, I am just looking forward to spending more time with my partner, even if that is just us cuddled up on the sofa and not doing any of the fun things we normally do.

*big tired return hug*

Yeah my day was albeit a bit stressed due to the strike and the preparations for the FedCon tomorrow.

How are you today, is the future looking bright and sunny? :-)

It is quite annoying in the chat that pressing enter sends the message, especially after being used to the older PM system where pressing enter started a new line.

ddickinson: It helps that I only need about 4-5 hours sleep most days. :-)

Although after work it does not leave a lot of time for gaming, and the free time I do get is usually spend doing other things. But normally I do get a few hours a week where I can just enjoy some games. Sadly with this kind of play time I fear that my backlog will never get completed. :-)

Sorry to hear your day was stressful. Are you all set for FedCon? I bet you are looking forward to going.

My day was good, thank you. Very busy, but I managed to get some extra stuff done in-between the raining.

ddickinson: Glad to hear it is bright and sunny. I remembered after I sent my message that it's not spring where you are, but I am glad the weather is still nice. Are you expecting a harsh winter?

The chat is indeed not very well thought out. I have 2 notifications for the chat, yet I have no new chat messages. What's strange is that it disappears for a few pages, then comes back again.

Side topic,looking at forum and you post message to me,Next thing I notice is a
ding dong sound on my PC.As I normally keep the sound very low and have just
noticed this,my Q has this been here all the time or something new?

ddickinson: A sound when you receive a message? I have never had that. Are you using Galaxy?

gunsynd: No,and no sound this time.It must be something else.

ddickinson: That is strange. Is it a sound you have heard before, maybe a system sound?
