KOTOR is. I own it. I have it here and on disc and a 3rd copy in a bomb proof vault just in case something happens to the other two.

I've never played Kotor... is it good ?... (I guess it is, otherwise you wouldn't play it... n__o)
I play Gemini Rue at the moment... for now, not really into it... and the controls are awful >:-| ... but I'll finish it anyway...
Full disclosure: I never actually had a cookie straw :P

KotOR (which is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) is a cRPG and it's great. Especially if you are particularly fond of the Star Wars franchise and universe, which I am. What I'm playing right now is the sequel, as I already finished the original.

Just try to find another cRPG title where you get to fight with lightsabers.....

KotOR is indeed now available on GOG thanks to the LucasArts deal that was signed last year. GOG is where I got the game from.

Yes, it is. But it takes place some thousand years before the movies, so don't have to know anything about Star Wars at all.

You have to enable the "Chat with everybody" option in your 'account/orders&settings/privacy' settings, otherwise only friends can start a chat. And when you're doing that, you can make your wishlist public in the same menu to make things easier for the ninja-gifters around ;)
