ZenWan: Hi to you, Crow. Just read your post re the threads, and I'll be laughing all day. You surely have a way with words when you're angry, and even when you're not. :-)
I agree about the bad behaviour, it is amazing how entitled some people feel, and how utterly devoid of good manners and politeness they are. The anonymity of the internet seems to turn many into raving trolls.
As for the stupid ones, I guess stupid will always be with us.
All well here, thank you, the mornings are at least cool, which I am grateful for. Hope all is well in your world.
Good point about Galaxy, I will also be keeping an eye on it to see when they get the bugs out, and the promised privacy in place. Meantime the GOG downloader works fine for me, in Windows 7.
So long as I don't end up screaming all the time rather than talking. I agree about the bad behaviour, it is amazing how entitled some people feel, and how utterly devoid of good manners and politeness they are. The anonymity of the internet seems to turn many into raving trolls.

That is a constant, unlikely to change so long as people feel like they have a consequence-free environment to act contemptibly in.
Things are okay here overall. Fending off increased agitation with an array of ultimately meaningless distractions.
I do the same thing. The downloader will continue as my go-to for retrieving items from GOG until the speed and stability of Galaxy are increased.
